True Omega

True Omega

Elder Summers looked into my eyes as I approached. "She's just like Samantha." I said quietly. "Yeah, where do you think Sam learned it from? Matilda loves that girl like her own child." Elder Summers nodded. "Goddess help you son, these Omegas are trouble." he added with a teasing glint. I nodded in agreement. "But they are more than worth it." I answered and he grinned. "That they are."

I keep rereading this because of how good it is! It's one of my top 3 favorite reads! Very well written, minor grammatical errors, but the emotions conveyed are amazing. I laugh, cry, and gasp every time, even though I've read it 5 times already.

This the best book I've read in any of the apps like this one. The plot is original. The characters are well developed. The story is well written. With a little editing, this could be published as a traditional book.

OMEGA

OMEGA

According to Jeremy most of her strength is in her legs, but that doesn’t mean her hands are useless though. “hold for as long as you can, this exercise teaches endurance, and pain, get used to it” Her breaths are ragged now, and even her muscles were exhausted. “now come at me, only with your right leg, act like you have no other part of your body functioning, only once your leg gets a part of your body you’re free to go, if you use any other part of your body you’re going to have to start afresh” “come on at me” he orders. His hands in his pockets. With a sly smile gracing his lips he begins pacing around.

Onda

"Good morning class. We have a new student amongst us today. Can you please stand and introduce yourself?" I confidently stand up from my seat beside Thea. "Hello everyone. I'm Onda. Onda Silver Thorne." "Talk about weird names." A male voice behind me says causing some people to snicker. I ignore him and continue. “I’m 17 years old and I’m from…” I can’t say Zorah now can I? Say Australia. "Australia?" That came out more as a question. "Where in Australia?" The teacher asks. Katherine. "Katherine?" That also came out as a question.

Well, all but one. Thing is, on the wall just a little adjacent to the right side of the table was the largest monitor Megan had ever seen; like it was the combination of three of the world's largest monitors mounted on the glass wall without any strain to it. On its display was the map of the world; every continent, country, and region marked with an algorithmic assessment of different threat levels in numbers in relations to the various current events occurring in them in real-time. Now, that was Dennis Ahmad, Director of Olympus, she thought. The monitor showed the extent of his true power; and she couldn't help but be awed by it for a few seconds.

The man looked at the woman lying on the bed, he really doesn't know what to say. How long does it take to install a passcode? Password identification by face or fingerprint takes a few seconds to set up. The manufacturer has optimized and simplified every function in the phone, making it easy for users to operate. The man turns off the alarm. Trickly put the backpack back in its place. He sat up straight in the chair, went on to handle the work. The man thought, turning off the alarm, the two people on the bed. They could sleep until tomorrow morning.

Arba’s platform moved forward as Adi’s moved back. “Jude, yours is of Order; submissive, understanding, loving, caring, passive, weak, but much more good than evil. You will join the order class and train with……..” “Yours truly….. The eloquent Master Sho” interrupted a buff black human with dreadlocks, who walked into the room. “Eloquent and exceptionally la-te” said Arba “Prime Lord Arba, I do apologize, but I was engaged with a top brass member of Finite” he replied.

OPAQUE

OPAQUE

"Hey, Yuka!" Kumi greeted as she walked towards Yuka's desk. "Hey," Yuka responded with a smile. "Are you coming to the company dinner later?" Yuka was confused at first but remembered that her boss told her something about a company dinner but she was too busy at that time that she didn't even bother to pay attention and just nodded in response. "It's not like we have a choice," Kumi whispered with a laugh. Although it wasn't mandatory to attend the after-work dinner or party, there was already that unspoken rule that everybody needs to attend unless they are in a life-and-death situation that they need to excuse themselves. This applies strongly to interns and juniors within their company.

REMI

"Why do we need an office at home? You will have access to my office at 318 and you will still be able to go to the garage to manage it. Once the twins are here I don't want to bring work home. I want to focus solely on them. Hence, the no nanny rule." Remi says as I lead her through the rest of the first floor.

control

control

-ADRIAN POV- I've built my career on the principle that control is everything. It's the only thing that separates the people who succeed from the people who get swept away by circumstance and emotion. Control is knowing exactly what will happen before it happens. Control is building systems that work regardless of external chaos. Control is keeping the world at arm's length so nothing can touch what I've carefully constructed. And I'm very, very good at control. Which is why the assignment Marcus just handed me is simultaneously the most strategic opportunity of my career and the most genuinely irritating thing that's happened to me in months.
