He hadn't seen it in a while within the WereCat Prides for a very long time and knew exactly what was going on between them. Blade stood at his study window and watched intrigued as a line of 4 black SUVs stopped out the front of the Den entrance. He then watched as the Shifter King escorted his Gamma along with the 2 Omegas and another Alpha Cheetah that he eventually recognised as Alpha Duke of the Vapor-Moon Pride, out to the SUVs. Blade turns and walks over to his desk, opens the drawer, picks up one of the burner phones he possesses, presses the only number programmed into it and returns to the window as he waits for it to be answered…

“They’re coming. I can hear the hum of their phased-shift units.” The breach happened with a sound like tearing silk. Four "Sovereign" commandos materialized in the center of the gallery, their armor glowing with a faint, pulsing violet light. They were equipped with "Aether-Blades"—weapons that could cut through reinforced steel as if it were paper. They looked at Marcus and Elena with a clinical, arrogant detachment, as if they were merely clearing away rubble. “Step aside, Smith,” the lead commando said, his voice synthesized and cold. “The 'Total Harvest' is a legal and genetic inevitability. You are merely an obstruction in the flow of the Sovereign grid.”

“It seemed familiar.” “Familiar? I don’t recall…. Oh Shit.” Blake Prime called out as the two remembered the bain of their existence: the Space Void Storm micro winds. Just then, a small cut was felt on Blake Prime’s hand. He looked down and saw the thin line. He then noticed similar lines on all of his other clones. They were without consciousness but only an extension of him, so they would not cry out in pain and were covered with minor bloodlines. Blake quickly channeled his Divine Qi to create a barrier around himself and his clones. One would note that with his strength, this barrier of Qi should hold off a nuclear attack.

He pointed to the timer that had count down to about forty minutes left. "Let me see if I can shut it down." Ricardo began keying in a set of command that brought the screen blank and lines of code began to appear. "Or maybe I can at least hibernate it long enough for your friends on the mountain to take over and contain it." A few minutes and an enter key later, the equipment powered off. "It's done," he sighed in relief. A smile had just begun to form on Megan's face when the glass panel suddenly began to beep with blue light running across its structure, and all the nanites went red-hot.

If I was going to die at his hand then I was going to die as a human so that I still had a little of my dignity left. "There. It wasn't all that difficult to tell me what I wanted to know. Was it?" Luca smirked. He took a step away from me and walked out of the room, returning a couple of seconds later with a silver blade and I immediately tried to fun for the door. But I was stopped by a wall of muscle on the other side. I looked up to see who I had run into and I saw that it was none other than Blake. He was fuming and with every reason to be.

He stepped inside the demon’s swing, pivoted sharply— And drove his blade upward beneath the general’s armor. The steel stopped just short of Kharvek’s throat. Silence fell instantly. The duel was over. Kharvek froze. Adrian held the blade steady. “Yield,” Adrian said quietly. The demon’s jaw tightened. But he finally lowered his weapon. “I yield.” Adrian stepped back. The court erupted again—some cheering, others murmuring in disbelief. High above them, Vaelreth stood slowly from his throne.

It snapped at her face, its breath smelling of copper and chemical preservatives. She spun to the left, her silver movements fluid and weightless. She allowed the wolf’s momentum to carry it past her, but as it did, she drove her silver blade upward, targeting the unarmored gap beneath its foreleg. The silver energy coating the blade sliced through the tough hide effortlessly. The moment the silver entered the creature’s bloodstream, the violet light in its eyes vanished, replaced by a flash of blinding white light as the internal cybernetics short-circuited. The wolf crashed into the central console, sparking violently before collapsing.

The Blade-Stalker did not wait. It let out a loud metallic hiss that made my teeth hurt and its right arm swung forward fast. The bone blade cut through the air with a whistle aiming straight for my neck.

His legs gave way as he stumbled backward, hitting the ground with a dull, stunned thud. A collective gasp swept through the soldiers. No one had seen her move. Not a step, not a shift—nothing. They couldn’t even process when she moved to Kyde’s side. “What the hell just happened? Did she really move that fast?” “I can’t believe that. Commander Kyde lost? To an Omega?” The disbelief was thick, but so was the unease creeping beneath it, their understanding of strength quietly breaking apart. The silence soon fell across the ground again, heavier than before.

And then he emerges. The Blade Alpha. My heart stops. Even in death, he’s massive, his body encased in jagged black armor that seems to pulse with a dark energy. His eyes which are cold and lifeless, snap open, and the air around him crackles with power. Dark power. Salcom steps forward, his face alight with twisted triumph. “It worked,” he says, his voice dripping with satisfaction. “Welcome back, old friend.” Old friend? The Blade Alpha doesn’t respond. He doesn’t need to. His mere presence is enough to send a wave of terror crashing over everyone.
