You’re Courting Me?! (MxM)

You’re Courting Me?! (MxM)

Either I’m hearing things or Miyamura’s father just said that he knows me— that he’s been looking forward to meeting me to be exact. “And you too…Sakura”. He smiles softly at her. His collar tilts, I can see the faint beginning of a bond mark at the edge. Sakura smiles, but it’s strained at the edges. Her hold on her suitcase handle tightens so much, her knuckles whiten. “There’s no need to have this discussion outside, dear”. I had completely overlooked him— the Aronohai patriarch. In the face of his beautiful husband, I had looked over his presence.

The Princes of Ravenwood

The Princes of Ravenwood

Riko’s grandmother chuckled. “I’m Yūri Konishi. This is my husband, Hibiki. We’re Riko’s maternal grandparents.”, she introduced. “It’s a pleasure to meet you both. Meeting you certainly explains where my girl gets her good looks.” I smiled, letting her hand go to offer it to Hibiki. “Nice to meet you, sir.” I greeted. Hibiki nodded and shook my hand with a firm grip. He didn’t say anything but seemed to had decided I was acceptable. “Mister Shiraishi.” I said, offering my hand to Riko’s father.

I liked the story the way it is but kinda wished each guy had their own book with their own person, & not one girl for the three of them. I liked the guys personalities & their interactions with Riko. I would totally read books of the guys each finding their own person. Darius & Forrest are my favs!

Sooo refreshing to read a book about polyamory where the first half or more of the relationship(s) is NOT about partners treating each other like trash. Loved how the 4 leads actually respect, love, and support each other. Kudos to the writer for writing such loving relationships!

Io’s Cursed Betrayal-Book 1

Io’s Cursed Betrayal-Book 1

I wondered as I turned more toward him. "Just like you I am in my eighteenth year of life. Honestly, my family has not left this village for many generations as we are the first residents of the Kiyomizu-Dera Temple. I am still growing in my studies of literature and arithmetic and will complete my studies come the beginning of summer. My father is Santo-San a retired high ranking general of the Chinese army and my mother is his Madame consort Kawa the villages strongest healer. What about you?" He ends with.

One Night With An Alpha (Omegaverse Series #3) | SPG

I remembered our earlier encounter and hoped she wouldn’t hold my earlier wariness against me. Beside her stood an older couple who I immediately recognized as Jiro’s parents. His father was tall and composed, his features chiseled and refined—clearly where Jiro had inherited his sharp looks. Beside him stood Jiro’s mother, an elegant omega whose beauty hadn’t faded with age. She had a serene grace about her, but her eyes were sharp, observant, and they landed on me with the precision of a blade. “Welcome,” Jiro’s father said, his voice deep and steady. “You must be Haru.”

Tales From Lands Far Away.

Tales From Lands Far Away.

All the children of the noble clans must go through schooling and when they turn ten they get shipped off to Camp Shitori for military training. "I remember my grandmother telling me this story over and over again. Even now I can still hear her gentle voice in my head," Karui mumbled and smiled briefly. "What I remember most is how stubborn and inattentive Konoiki was during those classes, and of course your beautiful grandmother," Hana replied. "He was always dozing off too, just like that kid over there," he pointed at the dozing kid and chuckled even more. Hana joined him and the smiling turned to a peal of loud laughter. They both laughed for some minutes.

Between Heaven and Hell

Between Heaven and Hell

"What's going on?" He flinched when he heard his father's voice approaching. While his mother is a benign woman, his father, on the other hand, is quite a contrary. Takuya Takahashi is extremely strict and refuses to accept nor see any weakness within his family and showing fear is no different, even from a child. Charlotte stood straight and moved in front of Takumi to cover him up. "Nothing, dear. Takumi only saw a wild animal over there. It must be really huge."

The Chosen Bride

The Chosen Bride

"They were like soulmates who understood what the other wanted... But everything got complicated when their eldest children died in that attack." That made me furrow my brow. "Elder children?" He looked at me as if I were crazy and then nodded. "Yes, the eldest children, from where the new Oyabun would come. You didn't know about them?" I shook my head, a bit taken aback. "No, I only know about Aunt Katsumi, the grandparents, and my father's cousin, Yoshio." "Ah... He's the one who maintains order in Japan, a unique being in his own right," he explained with amusement.

Astral Odyssey: Dying Ember

Astral Odyssey: Dying Ember

When Nozomi did not reply, Keisuke continued, “Your mother merely bit off more than she can chew. She’ll learn. How about you youngsters return home? You have your studies to focus on, I’ll stay and take care of her.” He then looked at Hikaru, implicitly passing him the responsibility of getting everyone home. “Anything you’d like my dad to note?” Hikaru asked. Nozomi shook her head. “Let’s go?” “...Okay.” Nozomi said with a small sigh. “Thank you, uncle.” Nozomi bowed low. “Don’t worry about it.” The corners of his lips lifted, and his gaze softened, forming his usual gentle fatherly smile. Nozomi was momentarily hit with a flashback of her father’s image, which overlapped with Keisuke’s vi

The Secretly Rich Man

Even though some were still alive, they had handed over their power to the next generation and retired. “Uncle Masaru is right. Since you are the patriarch, you must think for the sake of the family. Now, you’re actually giving up on the future of the family for the sake of your daughter. I think you’re not fit to be the patriarch!” Right after Masaru had said that, there were immediately echoing voices. Taking advantage of the high status of the old man, they attacked Takuya.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.
