she switched her black crayon to a yellow one. "Oh, what do we have here? Can I take a look?" Ruth said, diverting Gianna's paper to her, "Wonderful! You did this?" Gianna nodded. "So here is your beautiful mummy, I presume," she pointed out a not-so-straight stick drawing representing a woman with red hair and an ear-to-ear smile drawn in red crayon, which no doubt represented her mother's signature garnished lips. "And this is you, right?" Ruth acknowledged an almost similar version of the first drawing, except it looked small, had a black yarn-like excuse of a ponytail above her head, and no red represented ear-to-ear smile. "Yeah."

Holding a baby with a black birthmark on his forehead at the edge of the cliff. "I saw it..." Black tears were flowing through her angelic face. "I saw.. it...this child." She pointed a black dagger made up of her blood to her son's face. "Rean! put my son down!!" A sudden thunder has struck the woman, lighting up the whole place. Kepler grins. His son was growing way too far from his grip. The other team has lightened up the torch with the red smoke, Alkhun lighted up the torch with black smoke...

There's been no humanity left in my older brother for almost three years now. Elio loses his balance, and I rush forward to pick him up. He reeks of alcohol and tobacco. My older brother starts laughing darkly and snaps his fingers to the side. Before we know it, a housekeeper comes out of nowhere and hands my brother a cane. The cane is a perfect reflection of him. Black steel with no decoration whatsoever. Cold, icy, and empty on the inside. My eyes remain on the pommel, eliciting yet another laugh from Elio. So I finally look up at him, and his glassy eyes continue to stare back at me.

she snapped, “I need to get back the shop before the boss has my head. Is this about the Bloody Barbies again?” Bloody Barbie was the nickname Maria gave to the murders ever since she’d gotten involved as a suspect. It was an apt name. Each crime scene that had been investigated was painted red with each victim’s blood, and in each one there would be a bloody doll left behind (though, not exactly a Barbie), no less than three feet away from the body.

“Boring, no fun?” She rolled her eyes and shrugged. “Okay, maybe he isn’t that boring. He’s in 10th grade; he is in the football team and also in this very boring band. I don’t think they are going to last through the school year; the drummer is dating Noah’s ex-girlfriend, and it’s causing issues in the group…” Her eyes were twinkling with delight as she began to tell me about her older brother and his band woes, but I wasn’t listening; my mind kept wandering to his perfectly handsome face.

‘Em, Séraphine, isn't it strange that this pup isn't scared of us? ‘Yeah. I thought so too, Sarah. That's strange’. I replied to her through mind link, but chuckled softly. What could possibly be strange, when my own life was stranger and weirder? ‘What’s funny?’. Sarah asked me. “Nothing. I just feel lucky that this little cutie here likes me”. I said, and lifted the wolf pup from the water. “Ah. A female”. I said. “Hmm. What should I name you?”. ‘How about Lupa?’. Sarah suggested.

Lyra “This one is even worse,” Bianca sighed, scrolling through the comments under the pictures. “‘She got drunk for attention? Well, she’s certainly getting it now—and not from her foster brother, who she has a creepy crush on! Dumb bitch had it coming.’” Bianca had been reading the comments out loud to me for ten minutes now. I knew exactly what she was doing—pretending to be angry on my behalf while she was really just mocking me.

My name is Elora and I reside at the Blue Mountain Packhouse. I have a slim figure, long curly blonde hair which I usually wear up in a bun so it is out of my face. My eyes are a deep blue which I love. I am not a normal girl though. You see I am a shewolf, my rank at the packhouse is an omega. I don’t know my parents because they passed away when I was just a tiny baby, so I don’t have any memories of them. The only thing I have is a necklace locket from my mother. I have never taken it off because it makes me feel close to her spirit.

I saw their family photos and all I can say is… “They’re good looking huh.” Count Bourbon has red hair, he looks like an idol. No, to be exact all of them look like an idol, Fionna has long brown hair, I can’t deny the fact that she’s pretty. My siblings are all good looking and confident, do they even know they have a younger sibling?
