The Alpha's Cursed vow

The Alpha's Cursed vow

"I don't believe that. I can fix it. I can break it. There has to be a way." "There is," Orion said. "But not by hiding in the woods. Not by hoping visions and blood magic will save you." He reached into the satchel slung across his back and pulled out a small, battered leather book. He held it out to her. She hesitated, then took it. The cover was worn, the pages stained with old ink and ash. Her breath caught when she opened it. It was written in Old Vale script the language of her bloodline. Most of it was indecipherable, the ink faded, but one phrase had been circled in red:

Fated to the Beast

Fated to the Beast

Rain couldn't believe that Ben was utterly unaffected by Clarissa and her two friends' conversation. "The package," said Ben. "The package your father asked me to take contains an old book. Mr. Orwell said the book was worth billions of dollars. Many people are hunting for it. I'm sure all three of them are after the book. Your father will auction the book and use the money for your education, so you don't have to work anymore."

Bride Of The Shadowed Alpha

Bride Of The Shadowed Alpha

“I just wanted to change the environment a bit. You’ve gotten your wolf dragon now. So there is nothing taking us back there.” Nyxoria looked down at the worn-out book still in her hands, her fingers gently running across the rough, faded cover. “So, are you the owner of this book?” she asked curiously once again. Ora stepped closer and gently took the book from her hands, flipping it open with practiced fingers. “What do you think?” she asked. “These are poems. Very old ones.” “Do you understand the writing? The language looks strange to me,” Nyxoria asked, tilting her head.

Omega Or King?

Omega Or King?

Adam’s POV “Hey Joshua what’s going on? Has the doctor gotten the results already?” I ask excited. “Did you use that recording contraption to make porn with Iris?” He asks angry. “What are you talking about?” Then I remember, I bought the prototype machine that records movies with sound. The first time I used it was with Iris on OH FUCK! “Did Evie see it?”

Falling for My Enemy Alpha

Falling for My Enemy Alpha

The House of Vagamor; South of the Realm Olive's POV A week has passed since I saw Orvyn. If anything to go by, our last encounter- the foreplay at the pool- drifted us apart. Everyday, the gulf between us seemed to yawn wider and wider. He would not come to see me as his manner was, and because I'm still his prisoned guest, as he fondly described me, my movement around the keep was restricted.

Luna's Calling: Marked Through Trials

Luna's Calling: Marked Through Trials

I took another book from a different author, which he, of course, immediately had a comment about. And when I opened another book, another of his random facts came once again. And again. And again, until all the books I had collected to read had been reduced to nothing more than the work of ‘amateurs’ who knew nothing about real-life events. With a loud thud, I stood up. “Pray tell, what book in this terrible library is actually worthy of your approval, Ser Orpheus? Because every single damned book I have opened is either incomplete or completely incorrect,” I said, clenching my jaw.

A Love That Shouldn't Be

A Love That Shouldn't Be

It was a face that held the promise of a future yet to be unraveled. Magnus was gone for the day with the elders, and Orla was at the community building, so I had the house to myself. We were not allowed books of fiction in our communal library. I scanned the leather spines and pulled one off the shelf, The Picture of Dorian Gray by an author Oscar Wilde. I settled into my Father's oversized leather chair and opened the book on his desk. As I delve into the pages, I find myself captivated by a foreign world. The characters' complexities and struggles resonate deeply, reflecting parts of my inner thoughts and emotions.

Losing the Lonely

later when he messaged me back with TEXT:Orion: Good Morning. Are you heading to bed? I replied straight away with TEXT: Lara: Sort of. He replied back with three question marks. I giggled a bit to myself and sent him another message TEXT: Lara: I am laying in bed reading a book. TEXT:Orion: Ah, will you be up for a few. I can come over for a bit. So of course, reading that made my mind totally overthink, however I replied with, TEXT: Lara: Are you at work? TEXT: Orion: I took the day off, I’m the boss (smiley emoji). TEXT:Lara: Oh, Sure but please excuse me if I fall asleep while you’re here. TEXT:Orion: haha, I understand. TEXT:Lara: Ok, will you text me when you arrive. TEXT:Ori

IMMORTAL (IMMORTAL SAGA#1)

IMMORTAL (IMMORTAL SAGA#1)

Noel went to the table, facing his back to the big orb. "Let's see..." He put the note on the table. Then, with both hands on the table, he stood straight and closed his eyes while he imagined the look of the book he was searching for. "Lore of Elm." His thought sounded. The books on the shelves behind him began to shuffle on themselves and the orb color turned slightly violet. After a few moments, a few books floated onto the table beside where Noel was standing. He scanned through the books one by one. Then, he spotted a book with a red cover and black words written on them. The title on it was...

Captive Of The Count

I wanted know what they would feel like. "Read to me." His voice came snapping me out of my reverie and I was glad he spoke up cause I had a feeling that he wouldn't have liked it if I had kissed him and so I simply nodded, slipped from his lap, sat back where I was earlier and picked up the first book. It was titled 'one kiss from you by Christiana Dodd, great for the moment! I opened the pages and began to read while Orian reclined on the seat with his arms spread out paying an attentive ear to my voice.

Love this book! Will their be a book 3 in this series? I sure hope to find out how things will continue to work out for all the characters (I don’t want to give details so not to spoil things for new readers)

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)
