Anahita Waterwolf POV We waterwolves have resettled on the banks of the Dream River that runs through the place once known as the Barren. Though to use the word 'barren' in relation to this magnificent place feels ridiculous. Many mornings I sit on the balcony of the packhouse, before the pack stirs, gazing out at the churning, roiling, foaming waves of the river, its banks densely packed with rich, dark mud. The colours of the river at dawn--blue, mauve, purple, indigo, green--remind me of the lifestone and that night when the poison was driven out. The lifestone disappeared, it's work done. And Silvia's iron--the physical iron anyway--was also gone.

Working out six hours a day, every day, and working on an eight-hour shift every night, took it's toll on him very quickly. Ever since a colleague of his suggested enhancers to boost his energy, he was able to add more hours at the gym and more hours on his shifts, and could still hang out at bars afterward. Everyone else was using it, it was common for his line of work. They call it 'the helper', which leads to other kinds of helpers, for every different need. Even actors use them too.

said nothing but smiled. "Are you worried about anything? " she asked. "I am always worried right? " I replied. "That's why I have anxiety disorder." I added. She smiled again saying nothing. Meanwhile, I was worried about the cabal and the latest demolition notices in circulation but there was no way I would tell her about that. It was a secret Shadrach James, My mother and I shared. Dr. Amrah said I shouldn't keep anything from her but I wasn't telling her about this. "Fetty you know problems are inevitable right? " she began. "You pointed that fact in the poem you wrote." she said. "You see, being worried is not a big deal. We all get worried. I have lots of worries too." she continued w

he stated proudly. 'So his name really was Adonis.' Suddenly a water droplet fell on the cover of Trix's book and her eyes widened. "It's going to rain," she yelled then suddenly dashed into the house. A few moments later the clouds popped. Everyone dashed into the house except Trix's saviour who had to put the horses into the stables. "When did you grow antennas," Poppy asked. Searching Trix's hair. She giggled and gently slapped her hand away.

Victor suddenly shouted, “Hull breach!” On the camera feed, a massive crack tore open across the carrier’s side. Water rushed inside. The Leviathan slowly began to tilt. Emma covered her mouth. “It’s sinking.” Daniel grinned. “That giant monster just lost the fight.” But the Omega wave kept expanding. Lewis looked at the control system. “How far does the wave travel?” Victor checked the system. “About ten kilometers.” Elizabeth looked worried. “Will it hit anything else?” Sophia answered calmly.

Even all the disasters that he had stopped since he knew Vathar, combined, could not amount to this one and he didn't know the cause. He stretched his hands toward the heavens, eyes glowing light blue with power as he tried to control the waves, tried to send them back but it wasn’t working. Hurricanes kept forming, each one more furious than the last, feeding the tsunami with winds that defied logic. Houses were being destroyed. People were dying and Eron began to panic.

"You are stronger than this. You can weather any storm." Slowly, gradually, the storm began to subside, the winds whispering their secrets as they faded into silence. The rain softened to a gentle patter, a soothing melody that echoed Aunt Cleo's words of wisdom. And as Aqua's sobs quieted, her pendant dimmed, its glow waning as her powers ebbed back into the depths of her soul. With a heavy heart and a weary soul, Aqua nodded to her aunt, acknowledging her guidance with a soft smile. "Thank you, Aunt Cleo," she murmured, her voice a whisper against the fading echoes of the storm.

she says as she stretches a little. “It’s the best morning” I reply. I know how cheesy that was but I also don’t care. “Um, why can’t Lore feel Atari? Is she mad?” I ask bracing for the answer. I could not prepare for what she tells me “No it’s not that.” Nova says looking awkward “I haven’t been able to sense her since the rejection. It’s what I have been working on since I went back to the Kingdom. We believe there is a psychological condition that effects wolves when they have been rejected or had other psychological trauma that weakens their bond to each other. I’ve been studying the phenomenon. I’m actually at university now working on a way to fix it for all wolves that have this affli
