Earth was butchered, wrecked, and scared long before I was born. According to the legends, humans ruin began when the Viatores came into existence in the human world. Viatores are banished creatures from an alternate universe, weaklings who couldn't save their own world and as welcoming as humans are, we accepted them. Redemption, that was what they seeked here on earth but those backstabbing asswipes had other plans. A tyrant, a bastard, known as Nicholas Sylvester led the war. The Changeling. The human rulers had no chance. We were his little project to enslave. He and his seven Lords claimed all continents. It was the six hundredth year since humans started to leave Earth to colonize other planets. Gradual was one of the planets they had colonized and during the most time they were there, they believed they were alone. But in the fourth year of human existence on Gradual, they were attacked by raven beasts, winged creatures born by the planet itself. Immune to all energy weapons of humans. Humans protested at all AI bases in Gradual but the AIs remained silent about the whole issue and over time their relationship began to show strains.
