Leaving on a Summer's Day

Leaving on a Summer's Day

Bethany's expression froze, the joy in her eyes vanishing as sheer panic took its place. The terror she felt was laid bare in front of Mitchell, and in that moment, it looked almost comical. Though it was the height of summer, Bethany felt a chill crawl over her skin, a chill that had nothing to do with the weather. She had already experienced the madness that Mitchell could descend into for Heather's sake, twice now, and the fear of reliving it a third time made her stomach turn.

Fated To My Lycan Brother

Fated To My Lycan Brother

Penelope, as I read on her badge, said. She had pretty hazel eyes, and I could swear her natural hair was brunette. Her teeth seemed artificial, too, and from her statement, I could tell she had difficulty pronouncing some words. Summer waved the book she had snatched from me and said. "She's not anything like us and will never be. She belongs to the trash." I scowled and yanked the book out of her hand. "I'll be waiting for you in the car if you'll excuse me," I gave her a tight-lipped smile and walked away.

The Third Book

The Third Book

Cela remains disappointed. "C'mon. It's not like they bought everything. They just thought of giving the books as Christmas presents apart from the corporate giveaways. You must know that your mother enjoyed your first book so much. Too bad that she passed before the second one is out," Nanny Rita continued. "You've always been loyal to her," Cela said.

The Billionaire's Deaf Bride

The Billionaire's Deaf Bride

He returned to his Italian text. The library held its particular warm evening quality. Outside, late August was doing the last things that summer did before September arrived and changed the register. Inside, two people read in companionable silence, and the silence was full in the way the best silences were, and neither of them needed anything from it except what it already contained.

Our Last Family Dinner

Our Last Family Dinner

The home behind me grew smaller and smaller, and with it, the painful memories and the unbearable past fell further and further away. I floated high above the city, looking down at the abandoned building, the funeral home, and the headstone with my name on it. The images that had once made me wish I were dead blurred and dissolved, one by one. I thought of the 14 days at the camp, days that had felt like 14 years. I thought of the instructors and their fists and their cruelty. I thought of the twisted rules they had beaten into me, and the terror of the opposite sex that had been branded into my body.

EMPIRE

EMPIRE

After Summer had left for England, She arrived the university and was assisted to her dorm room. She shared a room with a New Yorker named Octavia. They were in the same faculty and in turn became friends. Leo, William, Drake and Stephanie also left for college. During the Holidays they would all return home. Summer didn’t associate with them much because she was beyond busy, any little opportunity she gets she put it into her business. The only time she was spotted was on Sandra’s wedding day and the naming ceremony for Sandra’s baby.

Alpha Kazan and his hybrid mate

Alpha Kazan and his hybrid mate

Ophelia shook her head. “Barely.” “That’s strange.” “Very.” She opened the first book. “Spring Court. Summer Court. Autumn Court. High Fae Court.” Her finger stopped. “Then there’s this.” I leaned closer. A section of pages had been removed. Not torn. Cut. Carefully. “What was there?” “No idea.” Sam opened another book. “Same thing.” More missing pages. Kazan’s expression hardened. “Someone removed Winter.” “From your own library?” I asked.

The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection

It will be the first time we have actually got to spend any quality time with Summer, since finding out she was our mate. Before they left, we asked the kids for a few ideas about what Summer liked. They know her best after all. They unanimously told us she loved picnics and frequently took them to the most beautiful little stream. It was their special place, which no one knew about. They also told us she always takes a chocolate cake, and it always gets eaten. On their way home, they always pick the most beautiful colorful flowers which Summer always puts in their kitchen.

Love it!!! It sounds like a sequel is expected and I can’t wait!! However there are some editing to do since the use of I, he, she in conversations from first person to third person swapping gets confusing. Overall, highly recommend reading this!

I am sorry writing about the war during the eclipse and how the Royals won but I wouldnt have known about those if I havent read it already. Putting that aside, which I know will be fixed soon, I have to recommend the author, why I am rereading them. BOOK 2 THE MISSING LUNA. BOOK 3 ALPHA NIX?

The nanny's summer

The nanny's summer

she said and walked away. Benita kept thinking about what she just heard and instantly she made up her mind to follow the advice. "Come let us bake some pancakes" Kate shouted from the kitchen and Benita jumped up immediately and ran to the kitchen. Since she had been little, her and Kate had always loved to bake pancakes. It was their special thing for every special moment and it's always comes with special memories. **** "Aunty Mimi, please inform Beatrice to see me right now in my office" Goerge said as Aunty Mimi picked up the call from the internal cell phone at the dinning table.

The Curse of the Seasons

The Curse of the Seasons

LANA Summer seriously is the best time of the year, in my opinion at least. I mean, what is there not to love? Sitting in the sun on a deck-chair, soaking up the sun with a cola in one hand and a book in the other... sheer bliss. Drip! Drip! Drip! I shrieked and launched myself at my oldest brother who had just ruined my perfect morning of tanning, the jerk! "Daniel! You're such a freak!" I growled in frustration, wiping away the water he had dripped all over me before sitting back down.
