Our Last Summer Book Novels & Stories

But dont worry this summer, the next book will be uploaded. In the meantime, go read Retrograde or The venom in my system; both are amazing books too. Thank you for reading.

Barbara joined them soon after. “Should I drop you off?” Barbara offered. Summer shook her head. She needed to clear her head, and a walk was the best option for that. ~~~~~ As she strolled small snippets, ones that she had hard time remembering last night, came back to her. The attacker had mentioned something about ‘the book’. What book were they referring to? She frowned. Was it the one that she possessed? But what was so special about a tattered book, the contents of which she hadn’t been able to decipher until now. Was it something valuable that she had been keeping?

"For meeting? How long?" "Ren, I'm thinking of bringing you with me." He stopped scrolling, halting in the middle of a digital book he saved to read. "Sure. How long?" She went silent for a while. "For summer. I have meetings to do at home. Most of them couldn't come to Canada and Japan seems to be our main place." "Okay. I'll tell Noah." "Preliminaries start in summer in Japan. If we are unable to attend, you can stay a little longer to see the start of the Spring Tournament."

Needless to say, it's going to be at least next summer until I can enjoy my baby again. I was able to get in some decent hikes and camping and now that school is back in session, it's time to concentrate on the fall reading festival. Summer reading group was far from successful with three total students attending. That’s even worse than last year’s four. Thank God for Sarah. After the first week, she started bringing two kids she babysat so we could at least call it a summer reading group and not a summer reading person.

"Who wants what?" We placed our orders, and Ariana and Devon volunteered to brave the food truck lines. The rest of us settled into a comfortable conversation about nothing important: favorite beaches, worst sunburn stories, childhood summer memories. "Remember that summer we went to Coney Island and you got so sunburned you couldn't wear a bra for a week?" Hazel reminded me, giggling. I groaned. "Don't remind me. I had to wear band t-shirts to my internship." "Corporate rebellion at its finest," Nathaniel laughed.

Summer yelled as she fumbled through her pocket and finally found her phone inside of her back pocket. "I've booked the ride home." Amira looked up to stare at her before clearing her voice. "Ugh ugh. Well, I'll be booking another ride then." Summer twitched her eyebrows before swiveling to look at Amira's full profile as she rubbed her eyes. "What do you mean you're booking another ride? Are you mad because Aiden left us? He's like that sometimes and you know that." Summer coaxed and Amira shook her head in negativity.

Memory of the Past As summer gave way to autumn, patrol duties became even more dreaded for me. Both inside and outside of the safehouse, the air became more chilly. The insulation in this room was a complete farce. I let out a long, exasperated groan as I burrowed further into the heavy blanket that had been put over my shoulders. Anya, who was seated against the wall to my left and reading a book, had a grimace on her face. It was one of mine, and it was one of the few items Mom had managed to take with her when she left with Thomas during the Takeover of the apartment building. It was my copy of Twilight, which was one of my favorite books back when I believed that supernatural entities w

She stood in front of the window, staring at the snow on the ground outside all night. She thought about the future, relationships, and more until headache set in. ＊ Back in the villa, the old lady was sitting in the living room, watching TV. “Where did you two go today?” She asked as Mark and Summer entered in tandem. “We have gone to Chatforte Tops,” Summer said with a smile. “So how was the trip?” the old lady asked. Summer took out the photos from her wallet and handed it to the old lady, her eyes narrowing into a smile. “Isn’t it beautiful?”

Let's get one thing straight: I do not like camping. So, when my mom suggested we try something different for our annual summer trip, I figured it would be something like Puerto Rico instead of the Bahamas, or maybe Southern California. She knows how much I love the beach. Then, when she announced my last summer trip before college was going to involve peeing behind bushes and sharing a tent with her and her boyfriend, Josh, I was like, You’ve got to be shitting me.

I managed to get my signed copy of the book and when I went to take a picture of it with my phone I had a call from Summer. I went outside so I would be able to hear her from all the noise outside. As soon as I answered I heard her panicked voice. "Autumn." Something was off. "Summer are you ok?" I asked frantically "Something is not right with this guy Autumn. We met at the restaurant and everything was fine then he asked me if I wanted to go see this new art exhibit and I said yes. But this place is strange Autumn, I just left at the back door... Aaaaaahh!!!"
