I’ll make sure the fridge is stocked up and I’ll be sure to give you a bonus for your overtime.” I shook my head. “No need for overtime, sir. I’ll be happy to help.” His expression was deadpan. “Overtime wages are obligatory, Mae. What I’m asking is above the call of duty by anyone’s standards.”

There was not so much as 10 minutes overtime showing for the unit over their entire period of employment. “What’s the company’s overtime policy?” Kim casually asked the girl who had produced the time records. “Oh, it’s very strict!” the girl replied with her eyes wide. Only then did Kim realize that the girl was in a state verging on shock as a result of speaking to two corporate vice presidents at the same time. “It requires the advance approval of ... a vice president ... like you or Mr. Kramer. That’s the only way.” Kim and Brad exchanged looks. Then Brad casually asked, “How long has that policy been in effect?”

If he could easily spot the company's problems, it was only normal that Hayden had already spotted them. "My colleagues and I take pride in working at Dream Maker. Aside from the occasional overtime, there are no other issues," Fergus replied. "I don't endorse overtime culture," Hayden said. Although he often worked late because he was the founder and deeply invested in his business, he knew that employees did not enjoy working overtime, so he emphasized that no staff should work overtime whenever he held meetings with the executives. "I know. Our supervisors have mentioned it before. We don't have excessive overtime, so no one really complains about it. Moreover, the overtime pay is quite g

“If the young master happened to stay at the Villa during the weekend, you can only go home on Saturday and must return Sunday morning. But if not, you can go home on Friday morning.” Elena nodded in understanding and thought about it. This was a great offer. She could visit her family at the orphanage every week! The orphanage is on the outskirts of town, two hours away from here. Not bad. But it would probably cost a lot of money if she come home too often. “What if… I stay during weekend instead, is that allowed?” She asked. “Ah, that’s right, if you decide to work on the weekend of course it will count as overtime. And the overtime bonus money will be added to your salary every week.” Th

He said, “This is due to my oversight, and I’m sorry. I’m willing to work overtime without pay! I’m also willing to pay the others their overtime fees out of my pocket.” The people’s expressions became less hostile. After all, they thought they would not get any overtime pay this time, not when they were doing it due to oversight. Ivanka remained calm. “No need to. Just do your job to catch up on your work progress. I’ll be responsible for my oversight.” This meant that she was going to pay them their overtime fees. He didn't believe in paying his staff any more than absolutely necessary and took the approach that if he didn't acknowledge the overtime then it didn't exist.
