Iqlima's palm swung high into the air, preparing to land while blaspheming, "Insolent child!"

"Nah. It's getting late. Once we get there, it'd be just about time you will have your out. It'd be a waste of time." "A-Are you sure? I can work overtime, though." No, it's actually not okay for me to work overtime, but I figured that there would be lots of work to do tomorrow because I wasn't able to work for the whole day today. And I'm actually feeling kinda embarrassed because what I did all day was a waste of time. I should work overtime.

“The restaurant operates from 10 am to 10 pm, Monday to Saturday. For the initial month, I am assigning you to the morning shift until you become familiar with the operation, so I expect you to arrive by 9:30 am from tomorrow onwards. On Sunday, since most of the office is closed, we don’t get many walk-in customers, but we do get delivery orders, so we work till 4 pm on that day.” “If you choose to work on Sunday—since I can’t make you work seven days a week—you will be paid overtime per hour,” Asher explained. Asmaira interrupted him, her voice eager, “How much for an hour?” “Five dollars per hour,” he replied calmly, though taken aback by her evident enthusiasm for overtime. “I am in.” “A

he replied. “So… I’m not your greatest gift?” I asked teasingly. “I mean… the gift of a file?” he said laughing again. I couldn't help but laugh. I resumed work on Monday, the office buzzing with the low hum of productivity. Applicants trickled in for interviews, each one eager, some nervous, others confident to the point of arrogance. It was a good incentive, enough to keep them motivated.

I worked for a multinational corporation and earned more than ten thousand dollars a month. I could earn up to 20 thousand dollars if I worked overtime. Working overtime was taxing and laborious. One had to continuously go on business trips. For the sake of earning overtime pay, I almost ended up becoming our company's model employee. This was the first time I had applied for such a long leave from work. My department head looked at me approvingly. "You're finally getting some long overdue rest."

"What's wrong?" Being shot at unprepared, of course, made Gery misbehave. In a split second, his brain was forced to think fast. "Grandma--" Gery swallowed hard before continuing, "I just bought food for the employees who worked overtime." The man smiled widely to cover his nervousness. "Overtime?" Mrs Dhapne narrowed her eyes. A sense of disbelief set in. "Since when does Vinestra Corp have an overtime system for office employees?" "Uh--" Again, Gery swallowed hard. "Today, Grandma. Yes, the overtime is only today because a little problem needs to be solved immediately. Eve is also there, anyway. That's why I gave them some food to keep their spirits up."

I understand you have families, and personal lives, and this is a last-minute request. But if you agree to do a few hours of overtime tonight, and each night for the rest of this week, I will make sure that you are compensated for the extra time and effort.” Gerald was interested immediately. “I’m up for it,” he said. To my surprise, he also added, “Does this mean you, yourself, will do a little less overtime? Because you are here way too much, Fiona.”

The next day, I sent in my application for annual leave when I reached the office. I had worked in this company for eight years, and I had never once had a vacation. When I submitted my application, Brandon looked at me. “What are you doing? Taylor, I’ve just got promoted, and you’re already applying for time off now? Are you doing this on purpose?” “Brandon, you’re overthinking this. With your leadership, we’ll definitely be able to reach new heights. I haven’t taken a break throughout all these years. I can’t take it anymore, so I decided to take some time off to rest. Otherwise, I’d be too exhausted.”

Lin Zhiyuan said with concern, with an elegant and charming smile on his face, which makes people look very comfortable. "The New Year is coming. Some employees quit their jobs and go home for the Chinese new year, so the company has a lot less staff. The company has a lot of projects to do and some goods to catch up, so there is no way but to work overtime!"Huang Xin shrugged his shoulders, raised his eyebrows and said, "but there is overtime pay. You can comfort yourself." When it comes to money, she found that nothing is more real than money, because money can buy what you want and make you happy and satisfied.

he announced, adjusting his pair of rimmed glasses at the bridge of his nose. Jake nodded in response, and as Felix turned to leave, he heard his boss announce from behind him, "Tell the employees that they will be working overtime tonight." He stood up, grabbed his coat, and strided out of his office majestically. Felix felt a shiver run down his spine. This had been going on lately for over a week at the company, and it was all due to the shortage of employees, thanks to the boss, who had been going about firing the employees even for the slightest mistakes they made.
