"Now that's more like it! Ari, it's two against one—you're coming with us!" Ariana sighed in defeat. "Have you forgotten who got carried off last time?" "You mean Rowan?" Boa scoffed. "That was a fluke. Besides, we're in Orkney now. His reach doesn't extend this far!" Unable to resist, Ariana was dragged along by Boa and Sienna. The place they went to this time was a private club, noticeably more upscale than the bar in Nordenton. Familiar with the place, Boa led them straight to a private room.

I recognized the name, the kind of company that had been built specifically around athletes who existed outside the traditional mold, whose roster read like a list of people who'd decided authenticity was worth more than the alternative. One line. 'Our door is open, @JaxonWhitfield94.' I stared at it. In the dark. Three am. Callum asleep on the other end of the couch. Elena's voice on a recording saying your son is happy for the first time in years. A list on a piece of paper in my wallet, short, honest, slightly terrifying. The door was open. A different door than the one that had just closed. I put my phone down. I looked at the dark ceiling of Callum's apartment.

"The game's tomorrow. I've got a car coming for you at noon—takes you straight to the stadium, drops you at the suite. Sasha and the girls are already confirmed, so you'll have company." "The suite?" "Yeah. Owner's box. Best seats in the house." He turns, spatula pointing at me. "You're gonna see your brother make plays. Try to look impressed." I laugh. "I'll try my best." "And you." Callum points at Caleb. "No distractions. We need this win." Caleb raises his coffee in a mock toast. "Would I ever distract you?" "Every damn day." I hide my smile behind my mug. Under the counter, Caleb's hand finds my knee, squeezes once, then disappears. A secret. A promise. A beginning.

Beta Garrick proudly asked. “Garrick, you took my link, you turned me into an outcast, and now you are turning this house into yours. How dare you disrespect my great grandfathers?” She was fuming. “Ciandra. Fuck off. You broke all the rules known. Stop being too judgy and get the hell out of here, you are not welcome here.” “You can’t throw me out of here. This place is for everyone.” She said, not believing what she was hearing.

I sang, opening the door. There strapped on the wheel was dear Mr. Nude Mayor, gagged with a sock in his mouth and his body so full of bruises and scars, and bags of ice strapped onto those bruises via duct tape. Truly, a welcoming sight for these sore eyes, after having to chase after those damn escapees.

A typical hybrid social club. Among the occupants who were awake, a light chatter filled the place, and no one seemed bothered by the visitor who infiltrated their midst. Ben reached the bar and took a seat. He removed his hat and fixed the collar of his shirt, instantly displaying a unique tattoo of a wolf's paw on the right side of his neck. The bartender, a tall Caucasian man, with a round beer belly and dull brown hair, which resembled a toupee on his circular skull approached Ben while wiping his thick meaty hands on a dirt-drenched apron, which Ben was free to assume was once white.

I'd tried to erase the image, to bury it somewhere deep in my mind… but it only got worse. Because it didn't end there. Every night since, he brought a different woman home. Every. Single. Night. And everyone in the Pack House knew. The truth spread like wildfire, feeding on whispers and sideways glances. Now, my shame had a name, Outcast Luna. It was no longer a secret. It was my identity. Still, I clung to a sliver of hope, praying my father would step in. That he'd finally care. But instead of showing up himself, he sent my older brother.

"But- why didn't you come when I called you?" "I'm on the other side of the world, and can't hear you." Erick's eyes stared closely at the beautiful face that was not far from him. "So, who is the vampire that killed those people." "They are from the Outcast group, humans who are bewitched to become vampires. Usually Outcasts have wild souls that cannot be restrained from looking for prey, they are more dangerous than pure vampires," explained Erick, still at home stroking his soft cheek. "But, who bewitched-"

David swiftly snatched Olivia's phone from her hand, his eyes narrowing as he read through the anonymous post on Phoenix’s internal forum: “The CEO is crazy. He assaulted me in his office, and I want justice. I am a victim with evidence, and I’ll come out with it if he doesn’t issue a private and special apology before the end of today.” David scoffed, tossing the phone back to Olivia. “Where’s that idiot Stephanie?” he asked, his voice cutting through the tension.

Different occasions. The Outcasts celebrated a bonded mate's happiness. A supposedly rebel group who will sacrifice their lives for the future of the Omegas. And here are some of the lives they will be saving, cheering for their destruction. How unfortunate.
