I notice a lot of movement in the water beyond the destroyed ships. ‘There’s something in the water,’ I say, pointing at the ripples.

Aarshon seemed to notice that she stopped struggling, but it didn’t dawn on him that she stopped because she was nude. “That’s Rick,” Nix explained. “We thought he was dead, all the blood. It was pretty bad. Can you please let go of me?” Nix asked when he started to grow against her belly. Shifters are used to being nude, so it didn’t bother her that much.
