Night Shift English Version

Night Shift English Version

While the doctors and nurses focused on keeping the patient's blood flowing, my assistant sewed up the wound. According to the narrator, the mother was shot by Ate, Daddy, and Mom. He and Papa were disputing about the money, and it was later revealed that Papa was involved in the drug trade. I'm not looking forward to returning to Papa Eat's place. Iyhana, don't worry; we'll merely take you to the lagoon where I'll finish my studies with Yhna. I remove my mask and gloves as soon as I enter the room and pull open the curtain.

The Reaper's Pet

The Reaper's Pet

“Take all of them. Just please let me go.” “You know what else we want,” the nearest one coos again and a third leers. The one who has her, apparently the leader, starts groping her. “No, please don’t…” They’re all perfectly oblivious to the swarm of weird, shape-shifting Ravens overhead, so thick now that they blot out the night sky and the top of the two rundown tenements sandwiching the half-lit and desolate street. The birds of Hell are making so much noise people shouldn’t be able to hear themselves above the roar; it’s like being under the belly of a plane taking off. But the gangsters can hear themselves just fine.

The gifts of the Moon Goddess

The gifts of the Moon Goddess

The farther we got from the original cluster, the lighter the pressure in the air became. Not gone, just reduced. The system was still active. Still shifting, still watching and then and I felt it. Not above, not around. Below, subtle but unmistakable. I stopped. “What?” Jamal asked. “It is moving again,” I said. Vale stiffened. “Where?” I focused. Tracked the shift. “It is not the builders,” I said slowly. “Then what?” Lena asked. I looked at her. Then at the ground beneath our feet. “Something deeper.”

Alpha's Regret: Reclaiming My Fated Luna

Alpha's Regret: Reclaiming My Fated Luna

The stage was set for my first shift, and I eagerly awaited the moon's ascent, knowing that it would mark the beginning of a transformative journey for me. As Alpha Norton bid us all the best and departed, it was Quintella who took the lead in guiding me to the designated location for my first shift. We embarked on a journey by foot, making our way towards Jors River, situated to the west of the city. Accompanied by Alpha Norton's mother, who held my hand with supportive warmth, I couldn't help but feel a lingering sense of anxiety. Despite the reassuring presence beside me, the weight of the upcoming shift and its unknown outcomes weighed heavily on my mind.

The Ex-wife's Secret Empire: Beg For Me, Mr Blackwood

The Ex-wife's Secret Empire: Beg For Me, Mr Blackwood

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐨𝐧 The stone pier felt solid beneath Maya’s boots, a grounding reality after hours of airborne turbulence and systemic upheaval. The crowd of coastal survivors didn't press forward with demands or frantic questions; they simply parted with a silent wave of sun-browned faces, calloused hands and their eyes wide with a quiet and disbelieving relief. The heavy marine transceiver in the old woman’s hand gave a soft, rhythmic chirp; a clean, unmonitored signal that carried no interest rates, no liquidation threats and no corporate priority codes.

I Married the Man My Ex Could Never Compete With

I Married the Man My Ex Could Never Compete With

Marcus isn’t catching up. He’s already positioned. Another alert. Another shift. Another precise adjustment. The system is no longer reacting in waves. It’s adapting in real time. And he’s part of that adaptation. I stand, walking toward the window. The city moves the same way it always does. Unaware. Unchanged. On the surface. Behind it everything is shifting. “We can still contain this,” Damien says carefully. “No.” He pauses. “Then we escalate further?” “No.” He watches me now.

One Night Stand with the Secret Billionaire

One Night Stand with the Secret Billionaire

The transition from the salt-air quiet of Port Haven to the heavy, silent power of the Yates estate happened in a heartbeat. As the armored SUV glided through the winding hills of Los Angeles, Ophelia stared out the tinted window, her reflection ghost-like against the glass. She watched the city lights stretch out below like a carpet of fallen stars, realizing with a jolt of adrenaline that she was no longer an observer of this world. She was being pulled into its very center, caught in the gravity of a man who moved the earth with a single phone call.

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

His hands were no longer blistered; the salt-water wash had left them a hard, weathered grey, the knuckles thick and square like the cedar timbers of our ship. "They aren't auditing the remainder this time, Sara," he said, his voice cutting through the mechanical roar with a rough, physical gravity. "They’re rebuilding the boundary of the page. They’re going to run those rollers from the mountain crest to the water line until this entire coast is a flat white margin again."

Shifted Fate

Shifted Fate

I smiled and went to the fridge. “Shut your stupid mouth.” Shannon stormed in. But I just opened the fridge and searched for something to eat. In reality, I was hiding my smile. Shannon is predictable, as always. She hadn’t learned how to hide her true intentions yet. That came later. “You think you are so fucking big and strong, but you can’t even shift. How fucking pathetic are you? An alpha that can’t shift.” I felt Nix come forward. “Who says?” “What?”

I love Drama
I liked the story very much as it has its uniqueness in it.. Author is talented.. It was a rollercoaster of emotions within also with a lots of twists and turns.. But there are a lots of loosends that needed closures.. However, I guess that's gonna be covered in the next book.. Definitely good read!
Kimberly Best
I love the story. So many new & unique ways she has made this lycan/wolf/witch universe has me captivated tbh. I'm a long-time reader & tired of seeing the same thing. the characters are funny. The way she addresses loss, recovery, and acceptance was touching. can't wait for more from this author ...
