The Druid Wolf Curse
Seeing the board surrounded by the classmates I waited for them to clear a path but saw my name at the number one spot and cheered internally.
Curtis’ presence didn't even faze me as he stood there with his finger on the third spot where his name was written.
“Still in the top three,” he boasted to his male companions.
“I'm impressed,” I muttered and he glanced at me with a cheesy grin.
“If you are, you should come drinking with us to celebrate,” he said and I shook my head.
“Nope, it will be a cold day in hell if I ever even considered doing that,” I asserted and went to the door to escape their wandering eyes. I could feel them on my body and it was gross.
