Weasel pulled the van to a stop at a look-out point and switched the engine off. Jake got out, his hand going to his gun when a shadowy figure emerged from the darkness. Over his shoulder was a slumped form and he relaxed when he recognized Gage Vittori.
“Wrath,” Gage said, letting the man fall to the ground with a loud thud.
“Thanks, Gage, I owe you one.”
Gage shook his head. “This was fun, no IOU needed. It’s been a while since I’ve gone stalking and hunting. I miss it.”
