He wondered what messages Kael had sent to him again but he hoped that this time around this letter would hold better news than that of the last one he had received. Alpha Bartholomew Alpha of the Neighboring Pack. Dear Alpha Kael, I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I write to you today with a heavy heart, burdened by a grievous matter that has transpired within our respective packs. It is with regret and sadness that I inform you of the recent events involving our beloved children, Nadine and yourself.

Izzy leans on her office chair as she stares at the email she received from her employer. She’s fired because of being unresponsive for a week. Worse, when their HR tried to reach out to her, it was Alpha Landon, Elder Finn and Chloe who answered. And two out of three want nothing more for her than to resign her current job so she can become the pack’s Luna.

An amused expression filled her hazel eyes. "No, this is what an Alpha does when they return from a trip. We get shit organized." Paige let out a scoff. "Sure. Then I guess I'm just suppose to ignore the fact that you just got off the phone with Parker. And I also ignore the fact that you definitely aren't in here stewing over what possibly happened between Colette and her brother this morning." Paige mused, arching a brow. She seriously was too smart for her own good. Of course, she came here knowing exactly what I was up to. She always knew what I was up to. It was why she would make a great Beta. But it didn't mean it was any less annoying.

Themedeus I won. The titled Alpha will be mine, and so as the entire Kingdom. I enjoyed watching my unconscious cousins and Blake on the way to the palace. Well, as I expected, they couldn’t believe what they saw. I, Themedeus Finn, finally got the Alpha back with me. Almost everything we go through, you hear a whisper that makes my whole system happy. “Is that Lady Alpha? But why is she unconscious and then there's a big change in her …”

Maleficus is keeping an eye on the three of us while the Alpha King continues. "Mister and Missis Cooper, to the both of you. Thank you for coming tonight, and to you Miss Sydney Cooper. To all of us, I wanted to say that I am giving you freedom from the lineage of my great grandfather's enemy in the past. Some changes will happen as we learn of Miss Cooper's true identity. She belongs to a family whose blood is the chosen leader of the North. I am honored that we are the first to find her after so many years, Alpha Zero will be thrilled to meet her. In a few days he confirms to be here so that time, a big celebration will be held once again in the Langston Palace."

“No, I am talking about Jacob. He is now the Alpha of their pack, and he just got married to a woman named Lucy. She was an Alpha’s daughter, Bethany. Just like you before becoming a rogue.” “He got married? When?”

Of course, he wouldn’t let me go away easily, but I didn’t think he would send someone after me, at least not that soon. “Henry, the Alpha sent me here to spy on you. You know how he is… and if he gets to know that you caught me in the act, he will… kill me,” Cooper was visibly making a great effort to keep his voice steady, cold sweat was running down his forehead and he grew paler. My Alpha aura extended itself dangerously, radiating a tangible threat. “Cut the bullshi.t Cooper! He wouldn’t kill you!” I barked out. “He surely would, he killed for much less, he…” Cooper stopped on his track and cast his eyes down. He was being honest, I could feel it.

"Where are you going?" Kerry stopped a few feet from him, and rubbed the back of his neck. "Just going for a run—, He rolled his eyes, the sunlight showed the obvious gray in his hair, and the worn lines on his face. He'd been Alpha for a long time and Kerry knew he was ready for Alex to take over. Kerry was, too. Alex and Jane would make a great Alpha and Luna. Especially after they took down the lycan kingdom with such ease. Jane, his mate, was a lycan-werewolf and pretty badass.

Well, the mission was unsuccessful. "Are you… y… you sure this is all of them?" Cooper asked shakily. "Everyone? Even guys? I don't mind if it's a boy?" Here we go again. Everett rested his hand on his shoulder, pulling him back a little. I nodded for him to take Cooper away before he broke down. I returned my eyes to the alpha. "I know! What about the omegas? You have omegas, don't you?" The Luna pointed at the separated members. From the corner of my eyes, I could see the eldest daughter sucking on her bottom lip. She looked at Cooper and then me, as if trying to keep her mouth shut. ‘She knows something,’ Alaric spoke my mind.

Does it affect Kiel? Come to think of it, she already caught a glimpse of him holding back last night inside the car. And she can’t deny that it left her in a daze. How can Kiel, a recessive alpha, had that sweet scent? “President? Are you alright?” Only Devyn realized that she’s already making that irritated face again. “Miss Anna,” she called out. The young lady across from her jolted. “Yes, President?” “What will happen if a recessive alpha’s rut gets triggered?” she asked without even blinking.
