Heron “So your telling me the most eligible bachelor in the country proposes to you and you say no?” the exasperation in Clem’s voice was a welcomed comfort on this rather drab morning. It had not stopped raining, and I had to take off my display cases, that would barely fend against the wind. Though being under the canopy meant they weren’t drenched to the bone. Clem looked stary eyes as she rested her hands beneath her chin, her braids swooped up in an intricate bun, “You have to go back and say yes.”

“James, look at that! The titles of the articles!” Alfonso shouted out, jumping to his feet. “What is it, Sir?” James opened his mouth in surprise. Alfonso pointed at the five articles stacked one on top of the other by James. The first word of the first article title was ‘Polarity’, the second article was ‘Architectural’, then ‘Access’, ‘Rich’, and ‘Living’ respectively. “The first letter of each article title! When we read it together, it becomes PAARL, Paarl…! That’s a name of a town in South Africa!” Alfonso exclaimed, his eyes glistening in thrill.

I will see you tomorrow okay. [some loud, high pitch screaming, shrieking voices were coming from the backgrounds] Jerika: What’s that? Is someone’s… puppy dying? Martin: No… it’s a g… girl Jerika: Why is she making such voices? Martin: Apparently she is crying Jerika: Why is she crying? Is she in pain? You know what you should help her Martin: I really can’t Jerika: Why? Martin: Well because I am making her cry Jerika: Why would you do that?

I muttered as I turned my head in the direction his was facing. "Squuaawk! Squuuaaawwk! It's glowing! It's glowing! Squuaawk!" The parrot said. Even he noticed something was weird. One of the stalactite orbs was glowing. But that's not the important thing. It's the name written on the stalactite that caught my attention....... Raphael
