Blayze said to me with a shrug. I leaned in to whisper the news to Red. "I f*ckin' knew somethin' was up!" Red exclaimed loudly, and once again, the whole bar's attention was on us. "Mind your business, people!" Blayze barked. "Just keep it on the down-low for a little while, ok?" I said to Red. "We've still got a lot to figure out." "What's there to figure out?" Blayze asked. "Uh, hello. Two different packs."

And in that silence I looked at Austin, seated beside me at the war council table for the first time, and I thought, "five packs just declared war on one Omega who they are terrified of." They should be.

They entered their pack house which is more like a mansion, the Golem pack was the most influential pack in the region and their alpha, Donald was the youngest alpha in all the four packs, he was yet to find his mate as he believed that the mating bond is overrated. Donald walked across the halls, he wanted to get changed to another outfit so he will be right in time to teach the younger wolves how to handle their swords. He entered his room got changed and headed to the open field, he had a long way to go as his room was on the highest floor and farthest away from the grand staircase.

I look down at the deep blue dress I'd bought myself on our way into town, aside from the white ribbon around the waist it was quite plain but clean and in good repair. As for Arken, he'd finally changed into the simple gray tunic and black slacks I'd purchased on his behalf. As my eyes took him in, the way the toned down colors made his golden eyes seem more vibrant and powerful, I had to admit that he looks rather nice. He cackles. At his order, we straighten up and look at our alpha while we wait for what was about to come. Upon sensing the serious tension in the air, the Alpha becomes slightly uncomfortable. “Er...why are you kids looking like I might have you executed if you misbehave? Everyone, relax! I have all these prepared for you lot because you kids will represent our pack. Come on. Lighten up.” When it doesn’t seem like we are going to relax, Alpha Caprius frowns. “The next kid I’ll see who’s as stiff as a rock won’t get my blessing to leave the pack and compete. I’m not joking.” All of a sudden, we start to clap our hands and cheer, which seems to delight Alpha Caprius.

"The Voss Pack can offer them direct use of our trade routes and premium winter supplies. More importantly, forming an alliance with us automatically means having an alliance with the Crowe Pack, which is another bigger pack from the North. That's a huge connection." "We may be one of the biggest packs in the North, but that's just for the North," Jax countered, stepping closer. "The Lockwood Pack is the biggest and strongest in the South. Forming an alliance with us won't even count to Damien. It won't change his status at all." He paused, looking straight at Ronan. "So what are you trying to say?" Ronan raised one of his eyebrows. I comment rolling my eyes, waiting for the moment the figures get close enough. "I know what I need to know" she replies smugly. "Really" I challenge stepping closer to her slowly, my eyes darkening into a dark red which she doesn't notice. "There's 146 packs around the world. Only 10 of those packs are classed as warriors. But you see my 'blind alpha'?" I ask putting emphasis on 'blind alpha'.

"Moonshine pack?" Both Sarah and Celine inquired. The last topic they should be hearing about is Moonshine packs. It was so unheard of. The moonshine pack was a popular pack known to be closer to the human world. They are the packs who are most likely to have good businesses and since they are closer to the human world, they deal with all kinds of business. They contract with humans to bring in goods and services to them and they have no problem transporting them since the human world is the one who transports the goods to their packs.

It all happened during an annual gathering designed to enhance the likelihood of wolves finding their mates. This gathering has five distinct packs, one of which is mine. The pack I belong to is known as The Full Moon Pack. Additionally, there are the Silver Moon Pack, the Moon Shifters, the Luna Light Pack, and the Night Runners. Each pack brings its unique qualities and characteristics to the overall dynamics of the party.
