I splashed some against my face, sighing in relief. I looked back at the mirror at my reflection, asides the dark spots that was dotting the space below my eyes, I looked okay. My cheeks were rosy and smooth and my lips was more plumper. I peered closer at my eyes, zoning in on the dark bags underneath. Then it happened, it came like a flash but I saw it clearly. I gasped, taking a step back and blinked. What was that? Slowly, I moved towards the mirror again, peering closer. The flash of purple came again, more brighter than the first time and I gasped, but this time it was of pain.

He has been smiling a lot. He showed me the chair next to me and handed me another cup of coffee. "Thank you," I murmured. "I couldn't bring a doctor yesterday. She will come today to check your cheek." He announced. I thought he was kidding. But his face tells otherwise. "This is nothing," I told him, showing my bruised cheek. Growing up, I have had a lot of them from my mom and dad. I didn't tell him that. His expression hardened at that sight. "What if your jaw got dislocated?"
