Paladin's Hope Romane & Geschichten

DPOV Songs: Watching Over by Greta Van Fleet, Heart and Soul by Joy Division With the successful return of Eddie's group, we were confident in trying something more lucrative. A group of men from our forces along with some of the troops from Galloway that had journeyed with Guardian Hathaway would travel back to their kingdom in order to get word to their lords and our allies in Northumbria.

The dark energy crashed into the golden light like a storm meeting the sun. The vault shook hard. Water and stone flew everywhere. Hope stood in the middle of the fight, her small body glowing bright. Damien held her steady. “You are not alone. We are all here. Feel our love.” Mia touched her cheek. “This is for our family. For every child we fought to keep safe. You can do this, Hope.” Hope’s eyes filled with tears. “The bridge is not just power. It is love. Elara wanted us to choose each other. I feel it now. The healing starts with my choice.”

Yet a winds blows that surround Hez and he could feel the arising hope in his heart, as if someone just told the wind on his last breath, that his mere embrace was the hope to one's darkness. That same moment, the place was starting to fall apart. The wind was on the action, the same wind that an Alpha could only be tame. And its presence was those of ancientness, it envelop Hez as if he was the last man to know the very thing an Alpha and Luna could experience. And what was the hope, only knowing there was could one able to search with it. The old palace was as good as ruined! When Hez materialized, he find himself on the far away. In front of him, the fall of the strongest of the old palac

Now the times had just flown by so fast. My mother died, Dalia's dad mixed up with some bad company and got her in this mess with St. Laurent and died. Kane accepted the change. It still spooked me everytime he smiled and the tips of his fangs showed. All I had were my friends. My people My family. Dalia and I had been inseparable since kindergarten days and then we had sealed the bond with Kane during our beginning days at the Fangs Academy. They have held me strong in tough times.

I know what it means to Lucian. Alpha Aarden and his pack showed up after the poisoning. They pledged their allegiance to our cause. After the evil that Malachai unleashed, they no longer feel comfortable remaining in the shadows - waiting to see how the prophecy unfolds. We're grateful for their presence. They represent safety in a world that hasn't felt that way in a long time. And then there's... Hope. I turn to face the bed, staring at the crumpled mound beneath the covers. My jaw tenses automatically, my heart clenching in a painful way. That sad, hopeless-looking mound is my mate. My Hope.

a lot lost actually. "That happens to the chosen. I have seen it happen to Reginald and Dalia." She tells and I freeze for a second before the word flies out of my mouth. "Dalia?" I ask and she nods enthusiastically. "Dalia, was one of us for the longest time. She had us fooled too, she had your parents fooled too. Reginald spent the longest time trying to discredit her but Dalia had your mother's ear at the time and that obviously goes a long way with the alpha, your father... even though Reginald was family and we all knew of his power of visions. We have spent the last few years trying to make it up to him by working hard at making sure we find you and defeat Dalia once and for all. I am

our mother added, "when we realised what Viktor and his allies were planning. It's remained protected all these years, waiting for the right time, for you three to be reunited, for the Tree to return." "Where is it?" I asked, already imagining the value such knowledge would have for our fragile new council. "The pendant will show you when the time is right," she answered cryptically. "Trust it, as you've trusted your instincts that led you here." "There's more," our father said, his form beginning to flicker more noticeably. "About Hope. Her dual heritage, Graystone and Diamond, creates something unprecedented. She will have abilities that haven't been seen since the First Council."

Hope runs over to me and places her hands over my neck as I begin to lose consciousness. 'Maximus! Don't you fall asleep! You need to stay with me!' she cries. Her hands glow, and her eyes glimmer with silver. The large wound on my neck slowly closes over. Hope wraps her arms around me, 'Maximus!' she says, and helps me to sit up. The warriors in the room are all dead, but new ones enter and bow down around us as their new Alpha and Luna. 'Unchain him!' Hope orders, pointing to her father.

They both have beaming smiles on their faces and I soon feel my cheeks hurting from my own beaming smile and despite all the pain that I'm feeling right now I still manage to find some happiness at this moment and somehow I already know that I won't regret this. "You won't honey!" Holly chirps in my head in between her purrs and I'm glad she's happy she deserves it. "You do to Emily and don't you ever forget that!" I look between the twins and Emma and honestly I'm still in shock and still struggling to believe that this is really happening but there's a small part of me that's hopeful, hopeful for the future and hopeful that we can make this work.

"Death is but a pawn in my control. I can take him off the board here and now if you desire it." Holly swallowed. She knew who this was without even having to speak his name. It was something she knew without being told and she knew the danger of this conversation. "Why do you even want to help me?" "To take you off the board," he replied back. "I would like to forever change your fate, not just the hiccups that Dagon has managed. That is what he calls himself at this time, is it not?" he chuckled. "Pestilence was always the rebel."
