She had never come across a vampire that old before. She shifted into her panther form and clawed at the masculine arms holding her so tightly. A furious hiss sounded in her ear and the arms tightened around her, threatening to break some ribs if she didn't retract her claws. In answer she locked her strong jaws around one of the arms and bit deep.

Aura’s pov The indescribable pain was cursing through my blood vessels. They said that your first shift is always hard and painful but this is way too painful then I have ever thought. The bones were arranged in a different skeleton and the skin grew furry hair on my body. When I opened my eyes, I noticed my white claws instead of hands and sharp talons instead of nails. The she-wolf, who was fighting with me earlier, shifted quickly to fight with me. I was new to this power but I knew that I could take her down. I could sense her moves and dodged them easily.

I needed to find a way to gain the upper hand, to use my strengths to my advantage. As I circled around Leah, I noticed a weak spot in her defense. She was leaving her left side open, and I knew that I could exploit it. I took a deep breath, focusing all my energy on the fight. With a swift and precise movement, I struck at Leah's exposed side, my claws extended and ready to tear her apart. But Leah was quick, and she managed to dodge most of the blow. Still, I managed to graze her side, and she let out a pained growl as she stumbled back.

But I was faster. I swiped at its throat with my claws, a sharp, powerful strike that tore through its flesh. The panther let out a guttural cry of agony, blood spurting from the wound, staining the stone floor. But it kept fighting, its claws raking across my chest, drawing deep gashes that seared with pain.

All eight men turned invisible at the same time, and Wilbur was the only one left on the balcony to face the gigantic black panther as it took off charging toward him. The black panther moved incredibly fast, clawing at Wilbur viciously. Wilbur's right hand flipped over, and the thunder cleaver appeared in his grasp. Wilbur swung it at the front left paw of the panther, but the panther ended up holding the cleaver down before swiping at Wilbur's stomach.

Damn day he was having. The tiger jerked in front of him and readied itself again for attack. Ethan clutched his three half-healthy paws to the ground and bared his fangs with intent to tackle it. He couldn't let him go after Clara. The assailant ran at him with his heavy body when something fell on him and the tiger's paws missed the surprise attack.
