My heart melted as he complimented me and I smiled at him. Just then, we heard the sound of a boat horn, and I looked to see that it was our ride. George stood up and offered me his hand. “Shall we?” I nodded with a smile and took his hands. We made our way to the boat. As we boarded, I felt a surge of excitement and happiness rise through me. It was going to be a magical ride.

"They are all very nice young ladies." "I bet they are," she joked. "Keep your eyes on the goal. By that, I mean 'staying alive', in case you become confused about your priorities. Take care." She was off to let the US government know I was associated with another calamity. Thirty minutes later, we received our first confirmation that George hadn't let me down. 'Red' appeared on the western shore. The ladies' watercraft kept scraping over submerged branches, we were traveling so close to the eastern bank. This time we really had to yell at one another.

That stunned everyone so much that everyone froze for a second to take in what they had just seen. Georgio took that as an opportunity to flee. It was as if he was twenty years old again. He sprung to his feet and caught the neck of a small zebra like horse that was running by and all in one graceful move he slung himself onto it's back. Georgio tipped his hat to Mister as he held on for dear life and tried to make his exit look cool. He had no idea of where he was going but he knew he needed to get away to save the rest of the crew, so he held on and let that pony run. .....

Too steady for a wave. I pointed. "There. Look." Ava followed my gaze. "Is that it?" Madeline squinted. "I think so. It is coming this way." We ran to the signal fire and lit it. The smoke rose thick and dark. The boat changed course slightly. It was heading straight for us. I grabbed Maya and held her up. "Look baby. That is our ride home." She clapped her hands. "Boat! Boat!" The boat pulled up to the beach. A wooden vessel with a single mast. No engine. No radio. Just sails and oars.

This is peer pressure at its finest. Fabian boards the boat and holds out a hand to help Morgan up. Jason goes next and I just stare at the white and blue boat with the words B'yacht written in cursive on it. Yeah, this is definitely Fabian's boat. "Zel," Jason says breaking me out of my thoughts. "You coming". He sticks his hand out to help me up and I smack it away. I'm no princess I can board a boat by myself. He smirks and watches me climb onto the boat.

A screen porch with mismatched rocking chairs and a view of water so still it looked painted on. Georgia declared the whole property "excellent" within four minutes of arrival, mostly on the basis of a rope swing hanging from an oak tree at the water's edge, and spent the first afternoon testing its structural integrity with the seriousness of a civil engineer. George, for his part, discovered almost immediately that he was terrible at canoeing. "You're supposed to steer with the paddle," Monica called from the shore, watching him spin in a slow, hopeless circle twenty feet from the dock, Ian secured in a life vest against his chest, Ashley thankfully still napping in the house.

I therefore excused myself to prepare his bathwater. He wanted to object, but I rushed out quickly and headed straight to the kitchen. "Oh, I'm going to have to install a boiler and bathtub soon," I heard him say as I opened the kitchen door. We had an electric kettle, and so it did not take time to get his bathwater ready.

Diana took me by the hand and, with her own strength, got me up. We entered the boat, although more than a boat, we could say that it was a small motorboat, not yet I imagined how the rich boy had been fooled by Diana. "This is one of those boats that are used to make fast trips in short distances. I think I remember that a friend of grandpa had one of these." I said. "I knew I was not wrong." She said. So he saw the first ship and tried to negotiate with the owner… and here we are”.

I just stared at the wide and carefree ocean, with its calm waves hitting the boat. I laughed because I kept saying boat, when in fact that it's a ship. We are going north, where mountains have risen and stood high. I wonder why the books want us to go there? "That is because..." as I heard grandpapa and Zale's mother spoke, I jumped in surprise. I wasn't expecting grandpapa nor Zale's mother to show up. "I am sorry my darling Zale, it seemed like that I, too surprised you". said Zale's mother.

Damage to the pulleys made it a difficult task, but they seemed to be accomplishing it. Lieutenant Gregerson turned to Jordy. “Go tell our guys to inflate the dinghies, then come back here with ten men if you can gather that many.” Jordy raced toward the stern where the dinghies were stored to carry out the lieutenant’s orders. Gregerson looked at the six teenagers gathered in front of him. “You Miracles stay with me, until we see what happens with the lifeboat.” He pushed himself away from the mast, but his legs immediately began to buckle. Lights caught him by the elbow before he fell, helping him to remain on his feet. Sneak grabbed his other arm to lend additional support.
