"I'd love to Nicole, that would be unbelievable!!" She walked over to the table, opened a drawer, and got something out – it looked like some kind of small silver, ringed contraption. Is it another chain, I silently wondered. She walked back toward me, looking me right in the eye. She dangled the contraption in front of my eyes. It appeared to be comprised of several steel rings, seven or so, that were fastened together with thin straps of leather. It was dark, but to my eyes it appeared the steel rings were of differing sizes, getting smaller from one end to the other.

Then he took her hand and picked the ring as he slid it into her finger. Zoe couldn't describe the happiness she felt. Happy tears filled in her eyes as she looked at the gorgeous ring on her hand. It was a rose gold ring and there were little two roses which were holding the beautiful pearl between them and there were two pink diamonds too in the middle of the roses.

There’s a glinting silver ring wrapped around her finger, just below the golden wedding band. A ring in the shape of a scaled serpent biting its own tail.

The rings however, are completely different, on the second page there are matching his and hers wedding rings and immediately we both point at a silver pair with cut out patterns and four blue diamonds on each ring. We look at each other and it's as though we know without saying anything that those are the rings we both want. Billy looks around and then tears the picture out of the magazine, stuffing it in his pocket and squeezing my hand as I push the magazine's back into the seat pocket. ~*~
