It wasn’t even one continuous circle; instead, there were overlapping prongs, so it could be bent to fit the finger of a three-year-old or a preteen girl. But it was beautiful. I would have given my right arm to have a ring like that when I was five years old. Even now, it was lovely in its innocent beauty.
