We strained our eyes to see through the darkness, and as the figure drew closer, I recognized him - Parrish, Lucas' friend. My grip on Lucas tightened as we watched in horror. Parrish was dragging a smaller guy by the scruff of his neck. I could barely make out the guy's face, battered and bruised from the blows Parrish was landing on him at intervals. Parrish suddenly transformed into his wolf form, his fur bristling with rage, and the smaller guy followed suit. The two wolves circled each other, growling and snarling, their eyes glowing with feral intensity. It was a brutal sight, and I could see the fear and pain in the smaller guy's eyes.

Linux raised a glass to Sahara. Sahara was overjoyed, but she still stayed calm on the surface, and she inquired after the well being of him and his pets. Linux had brought a big yellow dog over. His dog was very well groomed, and with Pourl's collar on its neck, it looked low key luxurious. At this time, he was lying silently at Linux's feet and dozing quietly. "Wow, this Akita dog is so beautiful. Looking at its coat and appearance, it must be the offspring of a rare dog breed." Sahara praised the dog enthusiastically.

They snarl, bark, and snap their jaws, feeling the icy bite of death as they circle the group. “What the fuck are they?” Brody asks and I try not to laugh. “Hellhounds.” I say when they drop to their knees. A loud growl causes the ones that are circling to whine and submit. I smile as I look up as she steps forward. She snaps her jaws at her pups, teeth barred, lips pulled back as she gets closer to me. I look at her. Her eyes clear as she sniffs my face, and I giggle when she licks my face.

I scooped up a fallen branch, as it was the only weapon available, and held it high. “Shoo, go away,” I said, brandishing the large stick. Another round of growls and snarls filled the air. I was in deep shit. Spinning in a slow circle, I kept my attention on the creatures as more and more glowing eyes appeared through the fog and trees. One of them advanced, stepping into a beam of moonlight. My breath hitched. It was massive, like a wolf shifter, covered in reddish-black fur with a row of spikes along its spine. Saliva dripped from its mouth. The crimson glowing pupils flickered as if made of flame. A single word popped into my mind—Hellhounds.

“As for your first question, I'd rather not go out there. There’s a certain hunter that I am quite wary about. Thanks for the offer, but I think that I should stay here.” I want to ask him which hunter he is afraid of, but hearing the screams brought me back to the matter at hand. “Alright. Stay here while I rally your hounds.” I start to move carefully. I took out my regular ammo and inserted the ones that Verphegor had given me. They are dangerous beasts. Intelligent and blood thirsty. They are also the best demonic trackers.”

Harry yelled and the latter turned to run but an hellhound moved at an incredible speed as he appeared before them. He grabbed Harry by the neck sending bruises to his neck as he choked, his neck became extremely hot as he struggled hard to let go. The Hellhound tossed him away as he crashed to the hard ground. Max and Adam gripped each other in fear as they made to run but halted as another hellhound altered their footsteps. “Bring me the dagger.” he said as he grabbed them and trashed them to the ground. The hellhound had caught the winged beast in its powerful jaws and was tearing into it with a ferocity that was both horrifying and mesmerising.
