Pastel Light Blue Aesthetic Novels & Stories

“You’ve been in the studio since six.” I picked up the fork, moving the food around the plate. “The light was good today. I think I almost found the right shade of blue. Not the ocean blue. The blue of the sky just before it goes black.” Zander sat across from me, his eyes fixed on his own plate. His hair was longer now, touched with more silver than it should have been at his age. “That’s a hard color to catch. It’s a transition. It doesn’t want to stay still.”

Sensing the discord, the young designer spoke up. "If I may, What about a deep blue on the bottom half of the wall and the top half of the wall in a light, almost pale blue. Then separate them with a piece of molding painted white to provide an accent." Neville could see the doubt forming in the prince's mind, so he did a quick sketch to show them both.

"Sure. I'll try your beautician. Your highlights are always perfect. I want to try some color." "Cool. What color are you thinking of getting?" "Hmm. I hear Midnight Blue."

I sat across from two polished, professionally dressed women with matching portfolios and identical pleasant smiles, and tried to arrange my face into something that communicated presence while my brain continued to replay a black car with no plates and the sound the air made when something moving that fast passed close enough to touch you. "Babe." Jace's voice reached me from somewhere to my left. I blinked and pulled myself back to the table, to the two swatches the planner nearest to me was holding up with a patient smile. "Uh... Yes. Sorry," I apologized. "The red or the blue one?" Jace skipped to the question, and it took me a second to recall why we were there. Oh. My wedding and birth

Without even having exchanged a word with Gale, I scoop Leo and Phoebe up in my arms. "My god you look so cute. Mummy did a great job with the two of you." Leo is wearing a light blue tux with a tiny fly and Phoebe has a light blue dress with tiny white flowers covering it. Kiara knows how much I love seeing light blue on her, giving the perfect contrast to her pale skin and hair colour. While our babies have my eyes, they've both got their mum's beautiful ginger hair colour and the pale skin. Light blue is perfect on them.

It feels so heavy I might die. I don’t know how but my feet brought me our old lawn. It was still the same as it was 8 years ago. I don’t know how is that possible but with the thoughts that’s currently running through my head right now, I do not have space for more. I walked to our backyard. It’s where the beauty is. We filled our backyard with different plants and orchids as my parents really love nature. It’s like a greenhouse only the walls are little trees and the roof is grape vines. We emptied the pool, put grass and yes, surrounded it with plants called iris flowers, yes, just like my name. Iris means rainbow, thus the various colors of irises surrounding us. But since my favorite is

“What are you thinking for the stormy aesthetic?” Harper asked curiously, holding up the deep winter swatches which include the colours: midnight, olive, expresso, silver, grey, charcoal, mocha, wine, brick red, ruby, Boysen berry, fuschia, magenta, mustard, honey, Ocea, dark green, forest, jungle, royal purple, mulberry, purple, royal blue, Aegean, and ceru lean. Knox snatched the swatches from her hand, spreading them across the desk like he was dealing a winning hand in a high-stakes game. His parrot green eyes darted over then, his lips moving silently as he processed each colour. “Stormy aesthetic,” he repeated, tasting the words. "Aye, it's got tae feel heavy. Atmospheric. No' just dar

It got so bad I yelled at Liana until she left. I absolutely love cakes but if I never see another cake for the next five months I will be very grateful. My taste buds feel like they’ve done enough work for a year, they need a vacation. And who knew that there were over ten different shades of blue? Blue is a color, any is fine but Carmen kept on saying that royal blue wouldn’t go with bubblegum pink and fire truck red. Who names colors like that?

"The blue is too corporate. The Wakefield account needs something more approachable, something that speaks to families." Thomas nodded, reaching across me to slide one of the boards closer. His arm brushed against mine, and I forced myself not to react. This was becoming a pattern of these small, probably innocent contacts that sent unwanted electricity through my veins. "Maybe something warmer?" He studied my face rather than the mockup. "Exactly." I pulled my notepad closer, scribbling down alternatives. "Amber tones, maybe with accents of deep red. It suggests comfort, home." After the meeting wrapped, I gathered my materials quickly, but Thomas caught up to me in the hallway.

“Easily fixed. My personal assistant, Pamela, will take you shopping this afternoon. Get your hair and make up done. “The blue-” I reach out, finally succumbing to the temptation to touch her, and gently pick up a strand of her vibrant, electric blue hair mixed in with the blonde, twirling it around my fingers. “-will attract undue attention, Lyric. Attention that could be detrimental to our plans.” She self-consciously runs her hands over the shock of colour. “I- I tried to colour it. It comes back within a few days. It’s a part of me.”
