Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Elsie gestured to the stones and explained, "These have been sourced from reputable quarries around the world, all arranged by Mr. Vaughn. Among them, the stones from Auqania's mines are considered the most promising. That's where most players will likely focus their bets." Crowds surged in from the surrounding streets, eager to watch the spectacle. The plaza buzzed with anticipation as players rushed to examine the stones and place their bets. Cheers erupted whenever someone uncovered something valuable, while groans and curses followed poor results. The excitement was palpable. Aspen strode into the plaza with Christina at her side, both women exuding confidence and instantly drawing atten

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

The Omega’s Redemption

The Omega’s Redemption

This is just another step on your path. Xienma took a deep breath, grounding herself in Ana’s words. “You’re right. We can do this. Together.” The path opened into a clearing, and in its center stood a massive stone archway, adorned with intricate carvings that glowed faintly in the dim light. “This must be the entrance to the Ancient Grove,” Cassie said, her eyes wide with awe. Zephyr hovered above them, his form flickering with excitement. “You are correct. Beyond this archway lies the grove, but be wary; the guardians will not give up their stones easily.”

Yellow Sun Academy

Yellow Sun Academy

While looking around, I see something that isn't too far away. "Is that the temple? No, wait. That can't be. This is supposed to be some sort of team-building test. But I haven't built my team yet. Maybe I'm supposed to build them at the temple with the game pieces?" Still confused, I use my gift to jump from one sand dune to another. With one final leap, I land on what looks like an old stone pathway with ruined pillars on both sides. The stone pathways lead to a crumbling temple. While most of the temple is either destroyed or buried in the sand, the entrance is surprisingly still standing. Carefully peeking into a dimly lit hallway while holding out my crossbows. I scan for anything like

Found (Book #8 in the Vampire Journals)

Found (Book #8 in the Vampire Journals)

It was like a swarm of hornets cutting through the city. They crossed the plaza and passed under an ancient stone arch. They continued down another alleyway, and down several flights of stone steps, the alleyways narrowing. As they went, even rats scurried to get out of their way, and old ladies, high above, slammed closed their shutters, afraid. The alleyway seemed to end in a stone wall. As Scarlet looked closer, she could see that there was actually a door there, concealed in the stone. Above the door, in ancient letters, was etched: “Hezekiah’s Aqueduct.”

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

A new set of torches lit with every few steps, illuminating a new segment of hall and beckoning them further on along their solitary journey. The occasional passage would open up to the left or right of them, but Waverley kept forward with much determination and quiet intensity, and Avera began to notice about the third time that there were set at every intersection of the halls a collection of round stones placed as markers near the edge of the pathway. Each was engraved with a unique mark, and though the stone which bore a certain marking would not always be in the same position, the same markings would always be present. There was a crown, a bishop, a flower, a book, a gavel, a saber, a c

THE LAST SHIFT: A Werewolf without a Wolf

THE LAST SHIFT: A Werewolf without a Wolf

" We walked through a section where the trees seemed to lean in toward us. The ground changed from soft dirt to flat stones, cracked and ancient. Like the roots had been trying to swallow the past. I touched one of the stones as we passed. Symbols were carved into it, faded but real. Someone had put them there on purpose. "What is this place?" I asked. Kieran slowed down. "The Old Path." "Is that supposed to mean something to me?" "Yeah." I crouched down and ran my fingers over one of the markings. It pulsed under my touch, warm like skin. I jerked my hand back. "What was that?" "The stones remember," Kieran said quietly. "The old systems still breathe beneath the earth."

The Three Alphas’ Rejected Mate

The Three Alphas’ Rejected Mate

Always disappearing when I turned toward them. Tyler walked beside me, pale and looking exhausted. His injury was getting worse although, he was still trying to hide it. Nobody believed him. Matthew remained silent. Ezekiel remained watchful. And Kael remained absent. That hurt more than I wanted to admit. Hours later, we found the stone. It was directly in the center of the path, deliberately placed. Waiting. The words written into its surface were impossible to miss. THE FALSE BRIDGE WALKS EAST. Nobody spoke. I stared at the message, then I noticed something else.

Caged to the moon king

Caged to the moon king

"The route to white Crystal is very scattered and narrow but we just have to follow the path with white stones littered on the floor." I told Heaven and I felt her release a sigh. "But there are a lot of white stones Seb, the path where we are standing bright now is even littered with white Stones." "That's the trick of the journey, those are not stones but shells." "Whoa! But it looks…" She bent down to pick it but I stopped her. "The actual stones have glaciers in them, so the moment we pass they will melt away." "Wow, why is it so?" I wrapped my hands on her waist as we started walking.." To prevent Intruders, that's the witch style."

They Thought I Was Human. Now I Rule Their Hearts

They Thought I Was Human. Now I Rule Their Hearts

“Try not to let the building keep you.” Then he turned and vanished between two passing students. Amelia looked back toward the mirrored passage. It was gone. In its place stood a plain stone wall with one small symbol carved into the surface: four crossing paths meeting at a dark center. Her mark. Or Waycross’s. She was no longer sure there was a difference.

Supreme Emperor of Swords

Supreme Emperor of Swords

Even the dark red wall of the pathway became crystal clear gradually, looking as if it were made of scarlet jade. A sacred and noble aura approached him in the face. The black puppy barked excitedly and ran even faster. There was no more crossroad ahead. The holy light was getting stronger and stronger. The stone wall of the pathway had completely turned into scarlet jade, which was almost transparent. "This is... ultimate-grade crystallite stone!" Ding Hao felt shocked as he carefully observed the wall.
