After seeing Gerald’s nod, Mindy simply sighed before saying, “While I’m no longer grounded these days, I feel nothing for any of the rich heirs I’ve come across. It’s true that I do want to fall in love, but none of the people I’ve met make my heart flutter at all!” At that, Gerald nodded again. “…Well, there was one person… However, I only got to be together with him for a short while… He’s a good guy who I have to admit, is also quite cute…” Raising an eyebrow, Gerald gestured again. “Hmm? Why didn’t I confess to him?” After seeing him nod, Mindy sighed before saying, “Humph! It’s a long story! To simplify, from what I’ve seen, he’s a sc*mbag!”

Placing down the cookie sheets, I walk over and sit beside Ghost watching as Mindy gives him another of her stare downs. "Trying to get him to open up about why he looks so different lately. I think it's a girl." A giant smile pulls at my lips but before I can say anything Ghost clamps down on my mouth with his giant hands giving me and Mindy both stern looks. "Like I told you before Mindy, none of your fuckin' business. And it's definitely none of Candy's." Hey, why is it definitely none of mine? "Oh boo, you suck." Mindy says sticking out her tongue at him. Ghost stands releasing my face and rubs the back of his neck as he walks out of the kitchen.

Will he rescue me, or will he deny everything? Ryder glances at Mindy and Sadie, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Hey," he says, nodding at her. Mindy seems to snap out of her shock at the sound of Ryder's voice. "Hey, Ryder," she says, her tone surprisingly friendly. Ryder furrows his brows. "Sorry, do I know you?" Ouch. That has to hurt. "I...I'm Mindy Barns. We went to high school together," Mindy says. I can tell by the look on her face that she is insulted. Serves her right...stupid bitch!
