Rocky looks at me as his lycan tears free, pointing with his muzzle to the barrier for me to go, but I refuse to leave him. Rogues burst past us, breaking into the barrier, lycans tearing them down without a thought. I never anticipated war to be quiet, but I’m not sure I imagined it being this loud, either. Rocky stands twenty feet in front of me, cutting down every rogue that comes near him. There is a roar that explodes and suddenly Violet is next to Rocky and Ames taking Marcus’ place where he has fallen. He crawls toward the border, but I can see the extent of his injuries.

I couldn’t just stand by anymore. If she tries to hurt her again, don’t think Zane would stand by Xavier took a step forward too “Get your fucking hands off my mate!” He growled, pushing me off Bianca who was pouncing on Katrina.
