I concluded within my mind and in a few minutes I could smell her closer, I had covered most of the distance. There were other scents, stronger than hers, not far from her. Their scent was different from humans, forcing my eyebrows to draw closer to each other. I hastened my footsteps and closed the gap between us, but kept my distance away from her and the group of people walking behind her.
