A Life Debt Repaid

A Life Debt Repaid

Cordy smiled faintly. "You know that Noel has control over Sachs Enterprises right now, with only 1% more shares than your father. You have 10% of Sachs Enterprises' shares, don't you? As long as you sell 2% of your shares to your father, Noel wouldn't dare be so proud in Sachs Enterprises." Anger rose in Plum's chest as she spoke, but she tried her best to suppress it as she said ingratiatingly to Cordy, "Don't worry, I'll be fair to you this time. As long as you're willing to sell the shares to us, I can buy it over from you at double the market price."

This book is pure drama, no romance whatsoever. If you like Chinese dramas where the protagonists have one misunderstanding after another, are never in harmony and are some how out to back stab each other, then read it. If a drama is not your cup of tea, pass on this one.
Bronwyn Bailie
This author spoilt John and Cordys' characters, I don't see the respect for her even though he knows he basically raped her when she was 18. This author took "The enticing CEO's chosen bride$ and mixed the the characters personalities up, which is quite disappointing

SOLD TO A MAFIA (ENGLISH)

If only sex can pay off my massive debt, I will give it to him until my debt to him is exhausted. For a few moments, Yuichi suddenly pulled away from the kiss. “Let me just remind you that your debt has started to increase by ten percent a day.” Before I could react, a moan came out of my mouth when I didn’t notice Yuichi’s spread on my thigh and Yuichi suddenly inserted his manhood into my womanhood.

Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams

His tone so arrogant as if my entire life wasn’t currently collapsing in real time. Daddy dearest had taken out a loan of thirty million dollars. Thirty. Million. Dollars. Apparently, he had also agreed to a fifty percent interest rate because common sense clearly wasn’t one of his strengths and that brought the total to forty-five million. Then he missed the payment deadline which triggered another twenty percent penalty. Just like that, the debt jumped to fifty-four million dollars. Fifty four Million! And because the universe apparently hated me, the interest was still accumulating every single day.

OWNED: The Debt Paid in Flesh

“I hate you.” “No, you’re just learning what it feels like to be the collateral girl.” “What the hell does that mean?” He stood. Crossed the desk. Pressed her back against the wall with nothing but his presence. “You’re not the prize, Riva. You were never meant to be. You were the cost.” Her breath caught. “I was supposed to marry Delilah. Still am. For alliances. For empire.” “And me?” “You?” He smiled coldly. “You’re the one thing I didn’t plan for. And the only thing I refuse to let go of.”

Buried Debt

I thought it was only worth a few thousand dollars. "Only later did I find out it sold at auction for seven hundred fifty thousand dollars." Hannah screamed at me like she had gone mad. "Stop talking! I'm begging you, stop talking!" I ignored her. "The woman in this story is Hannah Hayes's mother. Marjorie. "The man is Adrian Pierce's father." Marjorie's face turned deathly pale at once. She waved her hands again and again. "No! No! Don't listen to him! He has no proof! He's making it all up!"

The Alpha’s Debt

“You know what I want.” She kept scrubbing even though her hands were already clean. “I’m working on it.” “Are you?” He moved closer and she could perceive his cologne, something expensive that probably cost more than her rent. “Because I have not seen a single payment in three months.” He said raising his right eyebrow. “I need more time.” “Your brother’s been dead for three months,” Kade said, with his flat and businesslike voice. “He owed me five hundred thousand dollars and he signed your name on the loan. That makes it your debt now.”

A DEBT PAID IN FLESH AND SECRETS

A DEBT PAID IN FLESH AND SECRETS

It was better than smelling like the expensive laundry soap Andreas bought for my suits. Every time I stopped moving, my mind went back to the ledger on the bed. Three million dollars. Two docks. I kept seeing the numbers in my head, written out in David's neat handwriting. I was an expense. I was a debt that Andreas had paid to keep a promise I never asked him to make. "Arthur." The voice was low and shaky. I stopped and turned around.
