He possesses full knowledge that this world is a novel and that I am the antagonist who poses a threat to the protagonist, Renee Schmidt. He puts on a careful act of profound love toward me, strictly for the purpose of shielding Renee, the person he truly cares for. I have just gotten the gist of the whole situation when the system's warning goes off. "You have failed your romance mission. Your existence will be terminated within 48 hours."

The novel is mainly about the forgotten British poet/writer named C. J Richards who lived in Burma/Myanmar in colonial times and he believed himself as a Burmophile. He served as I.C.S (Indian Civil Servant) and when he retired from I.C.S service, he was a D.C (District Commissioner) and he left for England a year before Burma gained its independence in 1948. He came to Burma in 1920 to work in civil service after passing the hardest I.C.S examination. He wrote several books on Burma and contributed many monthly articles to Guardian Magazine published in Burma from 1953 to 1974 or 1975. Though he wrote several books which had much literary merit to both communities, Britain and Burma (Myanmar), people failed to recognize him. The story has two parts: one part is set in the contemporary Yangon (then called Rangoon) in 2016 context and a young literary enthusiast named “Lin” found out unexpectedly the forgotten writer’s poetry book and there is surely a good deal of time gap that led him into a quest to know more about the author’s life. The setting is quite different comparing to colonial Burma and independence Myanmar (Burma), early twentieth century and 2016 which is a transitional period in Myanmar. The writer’s life is fictionalized in the novel and most of the facts are taken from his personal stories and other reference books. It is a kind of historical novel with a twist and it has comparatively constructed the two different periods in Myanmar history to convince readers, locally and abroad more about history, authorship, humanity, colonialism, and transitional development in Myanmar today.

After a team building event, my colleague, Matthew Wells, gives me a ride to the company so I can work overtime. When I open my eyes again, I'm reborn and taken back to when Matthew's girlfriend starts throwing a fit.

Eveone was admired especially by her sister, no one can reach her sister's undying love, not her friends, not her younger sister, not their parents that treat her like an unwanted child; a treatment that triggered her thoughts and eventually invoked to Anxiety and Paranoia. Despite her condition she continued studying and pursuing medicine. However, along the way of her journey while walking with darkness, she crosses paths with Xavion Treyton Hernaez. A man who's unpredictable but hides sorrows and enigmas, a man who'll make her calm and safe from her darkest fear and nightmares. “Back then, death was my biggest fear. But now, losing someone like you is what I'm most afraid of.” She was surrounded with fear and he was clouded with sadness. Together, they will create memories and a lesson to engrave.

 Speed-up evolution: An unnatural phenomenon that boosts every living creature's adaptation, body, and mind at a high-speed rate... When this phenomenon was in its starting phase, Mike and others are the only ones who receive the power without them knowing.  Knowing that mostly young ones are the ones who receive the speed-up evolution, people from the unknown started their large-scale kidnapping to experiment with the young. However, their plan was ruined when their ships that transport the young ones got sunk by unknown creatures.   Mike who was dragged to this messed was now sinking deep into the ocean as he started to lose consciousness.   (Die? A peaceful death? Like hell, I would let that happen!)    Struggle... This isn't a love story, but almost a love story. Irina and Eric share a world through dreams and time travel. They have a strong mutual understanding about the feelings they have for each other, at the same time understanding that they cannot be together. Eric: I open my eyes and find myself standing alone in an empty room. The ceilings and the walls are neatly painted white. And the floor is composed of polished light brown wood. And there is a dark brown framed window at one corner where the light comes from. A bright yellow and pale red orange light tells me the sun is setting and soon it will be dark. Eric is a ghost who always appears in Irina's dream. Irina: I open the door to the bedroom. There is a dark brown framed window at one corner where the light is coming from. The yellow orange light passes through the open window. I see Eric standing right there on the spot captured by the yellow light. ‘You came back.’ I said. He stood there looking me in the eye. I almost died. Irina is a time traveler who may or may not change his fate. They alternatively tell a bitter sweet story. Love doesn't always mean together, sometimes it is deeper apart. Eric: I stand alone in the rain looking at the dark sky where all I can see is water, for it is both the rain and my tears flowing to my face. Irina: And suddenly it is no longer my reflection I see inside the mirror. What I see now is a figure of a man. I draw closer to see him clearly. But the closer I walk towards him, the farther I become from him. I couldn't get close.
