“Tell me about your life, did you work in the pack house all your life?” Pen chuckled and shook her head, “No. I once had a beautiful home ,two loving parents,great education, a sibling and a mate.” My eyes widened,“A mate?” Pen nodded. “ I was young, naive and expectant. I thought I would be ready to face the world with my mate once I was done with highschool. However, it was the opposite of everything I imagined.” “Why? What happened?” I asked curiously.

If there is such a thing as boys being nice, I take my pen and paper and begin writing my semi-best letter in hopes it's readable. Dear max, I am glad I got you as a pen pal. Hopefully, you'll be a good friend one day, and I can learn a little bit about New York and the things you like to do there or your favourite hobbies and foods. My teacher assigned us to our pen pal, and I have never had a pen pal before, so it will be nice to have someone to write a letter to each month, luckily for you, I am your pen pal, so here is a little bit about me.

I responded when is saw the happy smiles on the faces of the children. Penelope was a dark-haired lady with Hazel eyes. She worked as the CEO of the new company and we had bonded over the past few years while making plans, we were nothing close to being actual friends, but we were acquaintances with benefits. After what seemed like a while, I sighed and got up, I had other things to do and they could not wait, the day had just begun after all.

"My password has always been the same, from the beginning till now. I'm just too lazy to change it." She turned around, her upper body slowly leaning against the pool edge. She was completely relaxed. "Penpen, you don't like that Casby guy anymore, do you?" He paused his fingertips when asking this, his tone dropping a few notches. Penny wanted to look up but found her eyelids too heavy. "He's a bit off now. He might... have psychological issues." Caleb was thoroughly pleased and offered a piece of fruit to her mouth. "Want more?"

“Damn! That was such a pep talk. You make me have the hots for you right now.” Penelope watched her in disbelief. Was that all she got from what she raved on? Then, Francine burst out laughing. Penelope joined her as well. “I make a stunning raccoon, huh?” Francine asked, wiggling her eyebrow. “This is important, girl.” Penelope insisted. She was serious and meant every word. Whatever had Francine sob heavily must be a lot. Francine stopped laughing. Her eyes glistened. “I know, Penny. I know.” She said, Then, she said, “Do you know how I met Freddy?”

I smile despite myself, tracing the words with my finger. It started in elementary school—second grade, specifically. Our English teacher had assigned us pen pals as a way to practice letter writing. I'd thought it was unnecessary. I didn't need friends, especially ones I couldn't see or evaluate for intelligence. But I also didn't want to get on Mrs. Peterson's bad side, so I'd participated. And immediately regretted it. My pen pal was a jerk. He refused to share his name, age, or location. He only said he was male and wanted to be addressed as "X." I'd thought it was the stupidest thing I'd ever heard.

Book two is titled "The Beta's Blind Date," and will follow Reid as the main character. I do not know when I will begin updates for this book, as I am currently working on another project that I need to have finished by the end of this month (July 2023), and I am also working on getting Pen Pal ready for print.

It's too big for a kid like her in this picture. Beside it was a picture of a woman who looks just exactly like Penelope, but she looks happier than Penelope. There was also picture of her and her daddy maybe? It's in Hongkong Disneyland, based on the background. Penelope is dressed as Snow White here. Very Innocent. There were other pictures but one thing caught my attention. It's Penelope and ZIA? THEY'RE FRIENDS?! I heard someone opening the door beside the table of picture frames. So I guessed that it is Penelope, obviously.
