Stolen heaven

Stolen heaven

Rissa smiled inwardly the moment she walked through the doors of Perchy Peach. It has been finely decorated with colourful and attractive attachments. She walked up to the food booth and smiled warmly at the perfectly done job. She had left Adrian out to deal with the media and paparazzi. It was their first day of the long-anticipated staff week. Despite Golden Finger's slanderous situation, they could not afford to cancel it. It was an opportunity for them to heighten Perchy Peach's shaky prestige due to the previous rumour. “Miss Stonebridge, can I have a minute of your time?” Mrs Robinson said, walking up to her.

My brother's Best Friend Made Me a Sinner

My brother's Best Friend Made Me a Sinner

They seemed to nudge each other before the nervous-looking, bespectacled man spoke. "What's the recommended menu here, Miss?" He stammered, which was met with laughter and mockery. I smiled, ignoring the people's treatment before pointing towards the menu marked as a best seller. "Our fish and chips are very famous, but steak and hamburgers are also can't-miss items at our cafe." I explained as I turned the page. "There's a cola that's often ordered here, but our kitchen team's fruit-passion is equally delicious and refreshing, sir."

Mafia Kingpin: A Dark Organized Crime Romance

Mafia Kingpin: A Dark Organized Crime Romance

§ ABID § Me and Trex were standing in P**e’s Peri Peri, munching on 4 Extra Hot Chicken XL burgers each. P**es served by far the sexiest takeout food in the whole of Birmingham. We had such big fucking appetites, and we ate like fat bastards in public, not caring what people thought of us. Other people hardly managed to stomach one chicken wrap. Pussies. “Fuck, man,” Trex moaned. “I really fucking needed that food. I can’t remember the last time I fucking ate at Pepes.”

Love, Vogue and the CEO

’ He asks. ‘Nope, just me,’ I reply. ‘Is Cafe Charm the only place you currently work?’ He asks. ‘You work at Cafe Charm across the road?’ Ace asks, and I ignore him. ‘I do a few evening shifts, at a bar, through the week,’ I explain. ‘Which bar?’ Mark asks. I look at Ace, and momentarily feel uncomfortable mentioning the Snake Pit, in case someone chokes on their lunch, but then again, that may not be such a bad thing.

I Alone

I Alone

Chey cuts me a sad little square of toast and half a sausage l**k to sample. "Don't be greedy now! You got to share with the little ones." The man laughs and Chey cracks up with him. We sample our food and praise Linda's handiwork and Calvin's suggestion. Linda and Calvin Ironstone's "The Vintage Cafe". I make a mental note. The name is short and sweet, just like the adorable little lady who creates such great food.

Pregnant For My Ex-Fiancé’s Father

Pregnant For My Ex-Fiancé’s Father

Unlike before I would have haggled the price with him, but today get different. The cab ride was short and quiet. My thoughts were louder than the horn blaring in the background. When we got to Perk & Brew, I jumped out and headed straight in. The aroma hit me like a warm embrace. I ordered six cups of coffee. Caramel hazelnut for Tom, double espresso for Lana, vanilla lattes for Lisa and Peter, matcha for Marcy, and my usual black coffee. The cashier handed over the tray, and I tipped her with a smile. Back in the cab, I apologized, but the driver just shrugged. "It is all good."

Not Your Typical Love Story

Not Your Typical Love Story

The Best Damn Thing Cafe, Downtown A slim server in an adorable uniform leant over to take their orders. Nervously, Myra chewed on her lower lip. “I’ll have the seared foie gras with caramelised figs.” She averted Hart’s gaze, fixing her eyes on the menu. Knowing Hart, he would go for something more affordable, but even a pizza or a sundae in this posh cafe would cost hundreds to thousands of dollars. When she and her friends were having hotel-standard dishes at Bali, the cheap prices delighted them extremely.

Barrett: Heart of Promise

Barrett: Heart of Promise

As I felt a bit tired from walking, I looked for a place to settle in and have a break, maybe to eat as well as I felt the crumbling of my stomach. What caught my attention was a cafe with “Pisces and Gem” signage , since I'm a Pisces I immediately entered the cafe. It gives an interesting vibe. Upon entering a cozy feeling turned to my view, the ambience gives you a relaxing feeling, wooden fixtures are shiny and there's even an artificial bermuda grass on the floor. I expected it to be blue since the cafe’s name represents fish, however it is a lot differ from what I am in.

Airiane
Hello Airiane here! Greetings to everyone visiting my book :) I would greatly appreciate it if you leave reviews and comments. Formerly "My Lover's Fangs". Heart of Promise has reached it's second season now. I hope Barrett will capture your hearts! That's a promise!

The start of the story is in itself quite passionate and makes you want to read more. I liked how the clues keep popping out regarding what exactly happened to the manager. My recommendation at this time would be to leave less space in between the paragraphs as it seems to be too big sometimes.

Sinful Desires & Fantasies: A steamy Collection

Sinful Desires & Fantasies: A steamy Collection

Seattle's cafes called, the cozy spots with strong brews and anonymity. She chose one downtown, a hole-in-the-wall called The Raven's Perch, with exposed brick and the scent of fresh pastries wafting out. Pushing through the door, the bell jingled softly. The place was half-full: laptop warriors typing away, a couple murmuring in a corner and Diana ordered a latte at the counter, her clumsiness subdued but lurking—fingers steady as she paid. She claimed a window table, staring out at the drizzle, the boarding pass crumpled in her pocket like a talisman.

Crossroads Café

Crossroads Café

« I don’t know? Raw talent I guess? » They all started to laugh when howling wolves could be heard outside. Bianca looked in surprise as half-naked men entered the café. They were now throwing shirts at each other. Mat took a business smile and grabbed a list from under the bar. « Gentlemen from the Red Moon Pack, I presume? Welcome to Crossroad Café! I present you my two charming waitresses Bianca and Aiyana! You can sit everywhere you like. I’ll just ask you to not let your wolves out. »

Oh my what a beautifully refreshing book! I laughed so much! I completely fell in love with Bianca and Magnus! They are super cute one is serious and stoic and the other fun and fiesty. Perfectly suited for each other! I always love reading about strong women and their equally strong men.

I am thoroughly enjoying this book! I have read so many books that are so full of fluff just to keep the reader hooked for the real story, but this book is fantastic and every chapter is relevant. You’ll run through a roller coaster of real emotions and still want more. Definitely worth it!
