Percy quickly rushed on stage. He almost lost his temper and attacked Fane when he looked at his fellow disciples, one dead and one injured. If that happened, it would be exactly what Fane wanted. He did not even need to do anything, and Percy would be turned into ashes by the Whirling World.

"Isn't that why I'm here? To be broken by you and your brothers? To prove how powerful you all are?" Percy looked at me "That's what he wants but that doesn't mean it's what I want." "Then what do you want?" Percy opened his mouth then closed it. He looked genuinely confused. "I don't know" he sighed. "I don't know what I want anymore. Everything used to be so clear. All I needed to do was follow the rules. I’m supposed to become the Alpha's son I was always supposed to be. But lately..." He trailed off, looking at me.

"Keep it. You’ll need the money more—for that unborn child of yours." Percy frowned. “The baby’s already gone. I never planned on having a child with anyone else.” He looked at Stellar with what he probably thought was tenderness. “The only person I ever wanted to have a child with… is you.” The moment the words left his mouth, both Stellar and Stephen were hit with a wave of pure disgust. Stellar stared at him in disbelief before snapping, “Are you out of your mind, Percy? If something’s wrong with your brain, go see a psychiatrist. Don’t come here acting like a lunatic.”

Percy took the jacket of his suit off and moved to unbutton the shirt but I reached out and began undoing them one after the other, slowly, relishing in the way the small movement of my hips seemed to drive him crazy. When I finally got rid of the shirt, I marvelled at the sight of Percy’s body. He looked so very lean while wearing clothes but now that the top half of him was exposed I could see the beauty he’d been hiding behind the suit. It was no wonder he had been able to beat Declan so easily. Percy's body looked like it had been sculpted by a greek god. He was muscular, not in the way that made one appear big and intimidating but in the way that you knew he was serious about his body.

By his side was where I would always belong. "You want a mess?" Percival asked with an eyebrow raised. He placed his elbow on the table and rested the side of his chin against his knuckles. "We can start in your company," he suggested. Cadmus huffed and straightened his back. His eyes started throwing daggers back at Percival's. "What are you? Her lapdog?" Cadmus snarled. An amused chuckle slipped out of Percy's lips as he leaned back. He glanced at me, and a smirk tugged on his lips before looking back at Cadmus. "I worship her."
