Seeing no response, Percy pounded on the door even harder. "Cyrus! Cyrus! It's me, Percy! Open up! I have something very important to tell you!" Inside, Cyrus sneered. He reached for his gun and clicked off the safety. Strolling to the door, he called lazily, "Who is it?" Percy heard his voice and gestured downward, signaling Diana and Natalie to get ready. Both women were tense—their first attempt at murder—but the thought of killing Cyrus and moving into his warm, well-stocked apartment steeled their resolve. Their eyes sharpened with fierce determination.

“You must really like seeing me fall then.” I chuckled. Fun was the least of it. I couldn't handle seeing him fall or get hurt...but he didn't need to know that. “You should ask yourself why you do that often.” I regretted it the moment the words came out. Bitting my lips and watching him, he didn't quite seem bothered. It breaks my heart.” He said with a guilty tone.

I zipped up my backpack and met Percy and, surprisingly, Davin at the usual spot near the gate. “Morning, generals,” Percy said, adjusting her oversized hoodie. “Mission one: survive school without tripping over our own excitement about the wedding.” Davin smirked. “Somehow, I think you won’t survive without tripping, Percy.” “Excuse me?” Percy gasped, placing a hand over her heart. “I am composed, elegant, and… stylishly chaotic.”

i try to clean my hands in a tainted cloth so i can hug them. "School sucks!", Percy bursts out, almost in tears. He runs up straight to his room. It is not yet completed, but has the basic for survival- a bed, a desk and a closet. I follow him with my eyes and then before i have time to say anything more to anyone, they all scatter around the house, talking to themselves, throwing and kicking stuff around. I suppose they had the same day as i did.

Percy nodded his head and grabbed my hand. ”I know that much, darling. I want you to take my hand and show me the places he touched,” he said slowly. My breathing sped up. ”Percy,” I breathed. Percy made a ’tsk’ sound with his tongue and cupped my cheek with his hand. ”Don’t talk. Show me.” He whispered and dragged his thumb over my bottom lip. ”It was a hallucination, my- my mind was playing tricks on me. It…it wasn’t-” Percy placed his finger over my lips, silencing me.
