“I thought we could hang out, eat something. Just be here, of you wanted.” I stared at him. Percy, the second son of the most powerful Alpha in the country, standing in my small room at midnight with two boxes of pizza, suggesting we hang out. “Okay,” I said again, for the second time tonight. He smiled. He looked a little surprised, like he hadn’t been sure I’d say yes. My chest twisted in a way I didn’t try to untangle. “Good,” he said. We sat on the bed with the pizza boxes between us. Percy reached into his bag and pulled out his laptop, setting it on the pillow. Then, he pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it over the back of my desk chair.

The emotions swelled within him, a mixture of tenderness and awe. Percy's gaze shifted to Prescelle, who had put the finishing touches on her drawing and now looked up at him with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation. Her eyes, the same shade as her mother's, held an innocence and wonder that he found endearing. He offered her a genuine smile, a smile that spoke of shared secrets and unspoken promises.

Jones was warning me that Annabeth 's counseling session might take longer than I expect them too and if that happens , I shouldn't give up on the counseling process in between . " Yeah , I did . " I did tell Mr Jones that Annabeth was my cousin's daughter because I had to hide her family name , luckily Mr .Jones doesn't bother with identification cards and what not and likes helping children in need without much 'professional ' hullabaloo .

I said and walked around the table to my chair. I sat down and noticed, Annabeth wasn’t sitting. She just stood there, showing off her white teeth. “What is it?” I asked with raised brows. “I don’t want to sit Darius,” she said dragging her words like she was under the influence. “What do you want then?” “I want you to make love to me…” she trailed off passing her hand over her chest. “I will be certain then, that you really mean what you said,” she added. My wolf retracted in irritation but I fisted my palms and swallowed down the rage. If I wanted to make this believable, I had to do what she wanted. Besides, what did I stand to lose?

She promptly informed us that it’s a boy. Speaking of our little oracle, she’s still unnervingly perceptive. You’ll never believe this, but she somehow knows what happened to Astaroth. Apparently, he’s alive and calling himself Ash. She said he’s ‘playing pretend’ and that he isn’t hurting anyone. I don’t know whether to be relieved or concerned. Probably both. In happier news, Nixie and Percy are moving in together! They’ve been taking things painfully slow, but she says she’s ready now, and honestly, I’m thrilled for them. It’s about time.

Percy had checked on me twice already, her own eyes shadowed from nightmares she wouldn’t fully share. “You okay over there?” Percy asked from the kitchenette, sliding a mug of coffee my way. Her tattooed arm flexed as she moved, the ink a reminder of the armor she’d built after what those three monsters did to her. “Davin’s still ghosting?” I nodded, sipping the bitter brew. It burned going down, matching the twist in my gut. “Yeah. I keep replaying it. He looked so hurt, Perce. Like I betrayed him by not noticing. But I can’t force feelings. Not when I’m still picking up pieces from Girad. God, what if I lose him as a friend too?”

Then they erupted in cheers and happy wishes once again. 1 year later… ~Selene~ ”Percy!” ”No no, sit still I beg of you,” I tried putting on Anna's shirt but it was impossible and Caleb was screaming bloody murder. ”Percy I swear to god if you don't come here this second I will-!” ”I’m here, I'm here,” He came running in and picked Caleb up. He started making sounds that got Anna's attention and I could finally slip the shirt over her head.

“He has such a wild taste that makes it hard to keep up with him and-” “Are you done?” I cut her off, my face clearly held irritation. She was taken aback by my harsh response. “You should mind your business and stop talking about my Percy like that.” I clamped my eyes shut, did I just openly claim Percy? It was just me trying to keep Greta’s mouth shut and sell the idea right? “You shouldn’t be the one worried about his fantasies, I am his fantasies.” I said and turned ready to leave when I saw Percy just in front of me. He had beard what I said to her, his eyes fell on my face.

“You have some nerve showing up here.” Percy barely even looks at her. His entire focus stays locked on me. “I need to talk to her.” He says, not breaking eye contact with me. “No.” Anita snaps. “Lyssa...” His voice cracks badly on that single word. I’ve never seen Percy like this before. Never. He looks destroyed. Anita folds her arms furiously. “You’re unbelievable.” “I didn’t hurt her,” Percy says immediately. “I know,” I whisper softly. The room goes completely silent. Percy’s eyes snap toward mine instantly.

Mindy grabbed her by the hair and dragged her toward the bedroom, ignoring her screams. "Percy!" she barked. "Come deal with her!" Percy froze, his face twisting. His arm was injured but not badly. Cyrus had aimed to cripple, not kill. He wanted them to rot, not die quickly. Percy could still move, though clumsily. He hesitated. "Mindy, that's not right. I really like her. How can I hurt her?" Diana trembled on the bed, her voice breaking as she pleaded, "Please don't. Percy, you said you loved me, didn't you?"
