It’s that red silk lingerie set Cairo bought for me last week that I’ve been dying to wear in front of him. The silk is so ridiculously soft it spills through my fingers like water. I crumple the tiny lace pieces into a small bundle and stuff them deep into the bottom of my purse. Then I grab my perfume bottle, Scandal by Jean Paul Gaultier, and spray it all over my neck and wrists. I turn back to Pippa at the door and blow her a dramatic kiss.
