I kept looking at the paper with my eyes wide open and I was so close to it as thought I was going to go into it any time soon. I looked at him as though he said something really crazy which he obviously did. "What is this, why do I have to sign something like this"? He looked at me with his usual cold gaze and said. He asked, amused. I nodded my head slightly. Automatically, the friendliness in the young man’s countenance died and a cold haze settled over him. “Did you by chance forget the rule?” His tone changed abruptly. “You're not allowed to fall in love with me, it's part of the contract, once you do, you will receive no benefit.” Richard kindly reminded me of the rules in our contract. I slightly lowered my head. “And, I don’t think I share the same feelings with you.” He added and it instantly broke my heart.

“Y-yes.” He scoffed. “Well, I’ll tell you… Asking you to be my fuck buddy was a mistake. From now on, that rule or whatever the fuck it is ends. That stupid rule was a mistake, something I said in the moment because I was high on sex. So, please, understand me…The rule has ended and there will be no sexual contact between us again.
