Matt let out a sigh, resting his head on his hand pitifully. "As always, I was trying to do something nice for Kyle but he never appreciates it." Patricia whispered, bowing her head. Layla chimed in, her eyes red. "Please, Daddy. She’s so pitiful. What if she really goes?" I surrendered. I sent the kids back to their classes and drove Shea and Patricia to the hospital myself. "Do you have your pack ID, Shea?" She shook her head. "Do you know the number?"
