Rachel POV Wright House "Who's Peter?" I asked again, bewildered by the thought some man's first name would be enough to find my mother after she'd been missing for twenty years. Lindy looked up at me, adjusting herself on the bed to sit beside me with her back against my headboard, "I don't know. Just Peter. He's always been around Daddy. Doing whatever Daddy wants or needs. My dad asked in a teasing voice. I groaned internally. He was using “THAT” voice. “Dad, Peter is someone I met today. I just told you about him. He helped me out with Patty…” Piper interrupted with a scoff. “Someone? Peter Melton isn't someone. He's the number one elite, he's the richest guy in Delengade.” Piper said excitedly. Dad looked surprised. “Is he back in the country then? I thought he was abroad. Dave said so the last time we talked.”

Queen Zari takes a pair of shorts from a nearby guard and throws them at the boy's feet. "His name is Peter. Peter's pov I'm Peter Ace Carnell, a 16-year-old. I can say that I'm not that good at school, but I'm good at selling things, sports, boxing and, for my luck, I'm good at programming especially hacking. My life isn't easy. I live with my mother. I work in the Blackstone mafia as a stealer, so I steal cars, jewelry, money... Sometimes I distribute drugs and even sell them. Anyway, I was punished by the men in the mafia several times but not as harshly as the other kids working here. Once one of the leaders got really angry with me and hit me with the belt. I'm really scared of belts to the point that I don't wear one.

Peter scanned the entire area around the town, standing tall on the east wall of Hayward. At one moment, he thought he saw a movement down in the woods, but a second later, he found nothing but a shadow among the moving trees. Peter knows Marcus won’t leave them alone, not even in this foreign country. No father would leave his child willingly. They wanted a dog, but their father, Leonardo, had always refused. Maximus and Peter would lie on the floor, staring at the ceiling, sharing their dreams.
