I shuddered at the thought of Zander and me locked up together in a lab. "What are you talking about?" Zander asked. "How would the accident reveal her true nature?" He meant me, and his question had me rewinding Peter's comments. How could Mom's accident have revealed my abilities? "The store across the street," said Peter. "Where Lydia Parker died. It had a camera and Father got ahold of the video." Peter looked at me. "He saw what you did, Tru. He saw you trying to heal Lydia Parker, and it was more amazing than anything Dubois ever did. Too bad you didn't know what you were doing, though. I bet you could have saved her."

Mia looked at him with watery eyes, her voice choked with tears: “Why… why do you have to hide from me?” Peter kept shaking his head, he said to her in the gentlest voice, his hands constantly wiping away the tears: "I'm not hiding from you, I'm fine and it's okay. It's just that the whole day is active, so the old wound hurts a little, just a little bit. You can massage it through. Do not Cry."

I puked all over his chest. "Shit," I mutter, but another gag leaves my lip followed by another wave of puke. There wasn’t anything in the puke other than water and foam due to my zero food intake. "I’m sorry," I try to clean my puke from his chest. "I-I- I didn’t mean to-" but I stop when a sob escapes my lip. Oh great, I’m about to cry. No, I’m crying. Xander holds my head, stopping me. "Don’t worry about it; I’ll change later."

But, Alex who was closing his eyes in fear instead heard a soft, low cry. Alex then opened his eyes and saw dropping of tear falling from Precious's eyes. The tears ran down her cheeks then fell to the blanket she was wearing. Alex was silent because it was the first time he had seen Precious cry. So far, Precious has always held her sadness and not let her tears be seen by others. But now he saw the tears falling in front of him from the eyes of Precious who was looking at him very sadly. Peter was devastated to see Precious crying, reached out and gently wiped her tears.

Is he insane or what? Then, I see his face which is furious but also the tears are so eager to fall down his cheeks right now. His face looks absolutely worn out and all pained and his eyes searching for the comfort. “Zara…Zara…,” he says as he pulls me into the hug and cries hard. This is so much unusual. Xavier never does this. He doesn’t cry. Xavier is never made for a cry at least. I thought so but I am wrong. Like everyone, it hurts to him as well. Like everyone it makes him sad and he has the emotions which are never expressed in front of people but yes, it is there, right inside him.

Honestly, he didn’t feel well enough to be driving. "Serenity, I know you have a lot of questions. I know this whole thing doesn’t make sense. I know it looks bad from where you’re standing, but everything has an explanation. I need to get some air. I’m not well, daughter. After the accident, I’ve been suffering from panic attacks, and seeing you again…" Just as Serenity was about to get out of the car, Peter was already standing, offering his hand to help her out. Jeffery tried to come closer but Parker instantly took him in his arms and brought him outside as he saw Liam started to get hysteric. "Gooooo. Don’t hurt me.... Don’t touch me.... It hurtsss. Mommmm daddddd". Liam was getting dizzy from all the screaming and the flashbacks were hurting him too much. And it wasn’t longer when he fainted.

Peter brought his hand closer to my skin, I could almost feel his warmth on the side of my neck, his face leaned in to kiss me, then suddenly he screamed in agony. He removed his hand from me, and bended as if in pain. "What's wrong?" I asked shocked. "What's on your neck, are you trying to kill me?" He yelled, his eyes were all black. I had never seen anything like that in my life.
