Don't you have any plans for dinner–” Peter's voice interrupts my thoughts, before he leaves his question in the middle and starts another one in a panicked voice. “Wait a minute, are you crying?” And his second statement shocks me like anything. Touching my cheeks, I look at him. I was going to ask him if he has gone crazy, the words are almost out of my mouth, until I myself feel the wetness spread all over my cheeks… “I don't know, brother!! I don't know -” “Ethan, tell me, what happened? Has something remarkable happened today? Because I have known you so long, and it's the first time, I am seeing you in this state–”

Seb reasons. I can hear a bit of frustration seeping into his voice now. "No, Seb! No one can take Tony's place. He was one of a kind! I love him! I barely have time to process what's happening, and the bag I'm holding keeps me from reaching out to support myself against the door before my face slams into it. The the rest of my body crumbles to the floor in an awkward position. I extricate my hands from my bag straps and support myself on the floor. My face is howling in pain. So is my ankle. "Holy shit, are you okay?" Mr. Park's voice reaches me. Then there's a hand on each of my arms, pulling me upwards. I go willingly, my hands rubbing my forehead. That hurt. "Have a seat," Mr. Park is saying, and I find myself back in the chair.

"Please open the door. I need to talk to you." There was a few seconds of tense silence, before I heard the clicking of the lock. The door opened a crack, just enough for Peter to peer out, but I pushed into the office. His eyes were red and swollen, like he’d been crying. "Were you crying?" I asked slowly. He looked away, "Something got in my eyes." He sniffled. Bullshit! I can’t believe he actually cried. I bit down on my jaw, trying to control the frustration. "Can I… can I hug you?"
