The door opens and Petra sees Petrona, standing on tiptoes on a chair, with shackles on both wrists and around her neck, hanging from the ceiling, with bleeding wounds all over her body from the torture she was subjected to. A heartbreaking scream escapes Petra in that moment. She runs to her, still crying. Petrona is still alive, but badly injured, it's impossible for her to survive for much longer.
