Curtains of the tiny purple fruits hung on vines, looking so beautiful and delicious. The bright magenta sunrise awoke her mind as her feet gently brushed and imprinted the smooth, silky dirt. Behind her, she left a stream of shoe prints pressed into the earth, and some part of her heart appreciated how clean the air was that was cleansing her lungs with every breath she took. Unlike her pack which was closer to the city where the factory fumes were a nuisance to her pack members, especially on a very windy day, the Midnight Pack was uphill surrounded by an endless amount of greenery.

From twelve am, you will be able to find your mate.” He winked at me. “... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!” At the end of the countdown, fireworks exploded in the sky and the moon was blood red but that wasn't the onlything weird about that moment.

She blushes then hides her face from MJ. “Wow, you’re so good at Archery yet you didn’t even hit any bottle” MJ teased, making Patima glare at him. MJ raises both of his arms then steps back.

She figured out that Midnight’s suit was made from black slime, a creature that had a high concentration of dark magic. Aside from that, Sara also casted ice and lightning elemental spells to deal additional damage and throw Midnight off. Midnight was supporting himself with similar elemental spells that countered some of Sara’s attacks. The swords in his hands were parrying Sara’s sword, but despite having an extra sword, Midnight was still getting sliced up.

So, there I stood, on a raised platform in front of the pack, the arches behind me decorated with streamers and balloons in our pack colors of navy blue, silver, and white, waiting as everyone counted down the seconds to midnight. All the female members who were already 19 or older stood right at the edge of the platform, all clamoring for my attention, clamoring to be the closest one to me. They all hoped they would be the one, that they would be the lucky girl mated to the Future Alpha of the Midnight Moon pack, the lucky girl who would become my luna.
