Devil's Groom.

Devil's Groom.

It was a strange thing for a man of his age to keep seeing but he often chucked it down to stress from work. He has never told anyone about it either. What grown man would say to another grown man, 'I think the sky is turning into red eyes and staring at me like it wants me dead?' It sounded ridiculous. He wasn't seeing anything because as soon as someone called him and he looked away just a second later, the red eyes would be gone along with every other thing he might have thought he saw. This case wasn't any different, as soon as he had taken his eyes away to respond to his partner and looked back up into the sky the whole thing was gone.

The Curse Between Two Worlds

The Curse Between Two Worlds

“You’re ridiculous.” “Charles,” Phineas snapped, “focus!” The Wizard raised his staff again. A wave of shimmering heat rolled across the clearing, and before I could react— —all color drained from the world. My chest tightened. The sky above was now red. The trees twisted into black silhouettes. Ash drifted from nowhere. My legs locked in place. The Oracle’s vision. The red sky. The burning world. My breath came in quick, shallow gasps. “Phineas—stop. Stop, I can’t—”

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

Later that night, the wind died down to a mournful whistle. Jack couldn't sleep. The energy of the serum was humming in his blood, a constant low-voltage vibration. He climbed the maintenance ladder to the roof of the bunker. The sky was a canvas of violent art. The Aurora Borealis was churning, great ribbons of purple and blood-red tearing through the usual green. "Red sky at night, sailors delight," a voice said from the shadows near the ventilation stack. "Red sky at morning, sailors take warning. What does red sky at midnight mean?"

CRIMSON SKY

CRIMSON SKY

THE SKY LOOKED SOMETHING LIKE the early hours of dawn—not bright, not dark. Red clouds gathered in clusters over the horizon to the left, and a grey outline of the sun and moon hung up high in the sky side by side with a soft sliver glow. Everywhere as far as my eyes could see looked the same, bare and plain under the soft shadow of light, and the ground where we stood was as dark as night and soft, giving off a feeling of standing afloat on air.

Cursed Luna, Rejected Mate

Cursed Luna, Rejected Mate

Ayla The sky is red. Not sunset red, not the warm hue of dusk. It’s bleeding. A deep, oozing red that spills across the clouds like an open wound. The moon hangs too low, too big, glowing a heavy silver that thuds in the air with every pulse. I feel it in my ribs.

Rosa The Wolf Oracle.

Rosa The Wolf Oracle.

The rumble and hum of it I can feel it through the red dirt. “Come on.” I say as I walk forward, the rest following closely behind me. I watch as the illusion changes from a beautiful galaxy of purples, blacks, and blues to the hellscape. Red and dark. The screams of creatures being fed on by the demons. Souls wailing in their torment. The path is long, lighting splits the sky as thunder rolls in. The sky is red and dark. Winged hellish creature’s shriek flying over head. I look up and smile.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

"There's something wrong with that guy, so I'm not sure if Caspian has received any message from me, so we can't fall down now. Otherwise, everything will be gone." Hearing Jessica's words, Xander Faris and Charlotte Sky looked up into the distance. A large cluster of purple clouds gathered there. Under normal circumstances, the clouds would give people a feeling of being thick and soft. However, the purple cloud gave people a particularly evil feeling. With such a great distance between them, anyone who saw it would feel a great pressure, feeling incomparably uncomfortable. A few hours ago, this cloud was the first to be discovered. At that time, Xander Faris, Lady Maisie, Solana Gibson, an

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Crimson Bloomed: Ascend

Crimson Bloomed: Ascend

Chapter 33: Her Touch Was Louder Than the Screams The sky outside hadn't gone back to normal. If anything, the red seam looked angrier now — thicker, like a scar splitting wider, pulsing faintly as if it had a heartbeat. The light leaking from it wasn't just eerie anymore; it was unnatural. Wrong. Casting flickers of red through the blinds that made the walls look like they were bleeding.

Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny

Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny

Then a shattering cluster of sparks ignited from the sky. "What the fudge!" Carter rang out in alarm at the reddish shadow that covered the sky. "Tell me everyone's seeing that" Gabi chorused as the spectacle dominating the sky slowly formed a glimmering doorway. "It's the portal" My blue crystals glowed as if it was ignited with flames. It was at the darkest hour of the night, the moon was partly in display, without even a single company of the stars. The glimmering hole in the Sky swallowed everything that stood up there. New Orleans was covered with the reddish fog that claimed the Sky. For the first time in days, the Pack members felt the ease that flushed their previous fears and griefs

MY SCARRED LUNA

she finally gave in and did a shirt now at the end. Then Nathan dismissed the guards who had come to us. There was no need for them anymore. "Let's go get cleaned up, don't you think?" Nathan asked me. I nodded in response and was about to move when thunder scattered across the sky. This got all our attention and we shot our heads up to the clouds. That was when we saw the heavens begin to darken into a deep red that provoked the insides of my body. My wolf started churning and turning just at the sight of the red sky.

One of the best novels I’ve read in a long time. The author surely knows how to keep the readers attention and produce a believably wonderful storyline. Just as you think you know what’s gonna happen you get a curve ball. I will be excited when the rest of this story is completed.
