“Hunter? What was my code?” Hunter turned around and looked straight in her eyes, “ The code is: One. Two. Three. Four.”

The Hunter Organization. A mysterious entity that Mr. Aikens, Mane’s teacher back at the Wielder Academy, had refused to speak on. Although they had built and nurtured Wielder Academies all over the planet of Zandor, very little was known about those who were the true backbone of this institution. All that the commonfolk knew was that it was comprised of individuals called hunters who farmed and killed dangerous creatures and sold them to wealthy merchants for processing. There were rumours that they were also in charge of protecting the world, but when Zandor had been invaded, they disappeared. This made people realize that it was this was a baseless rumour.

one from the crowd cut me in. My troops instantly growled towards that person, but since this is a place where fighting is prohibited, they controlled themselves. "Thanks, Lucas," I replied to him with a wide smile, "But to some that don't know who I am, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Hunter, the name itself tells you what I am capable of. You know what will happen to you if you have the gut to linger around my pack, uninvited in the middle of the night, climbing towards my sister's bedroom, right, Lucas?"

and dove to the ground. A hunter entered the area with a lethal crossbow in his hands and a hood covering his face. The weapon was engraved with Damon's emblem, a jagged claw. It all seemed like a horror movie waiting to happen.

Otto whispered softly next to Zayn’s ear. Zayn actually had the same thought, and he wore a slight frown. He considered it for a moment before answering, “My purpose of joining The Great Hunt is to kill Xander. I’m not too bothered about being the best hunter.” Shaelyn opposed, “That still isn’t right. You are the best hunter this time, and you should receive the promised reward.” “We don’t know for sure yet. Maybe their superior does want to meet me for the sake of meeting me.” Zayn chuckled.

“You will come with us.” Xander’s growl was a low, resonant rumble that shook the very foundation of the stone. “You’ll bleed first.” There was no warning, as the world broke. Guards surged forward - fifteen, maybe twenty - enough to take down a dozen of an elite Hydra Hunters, enough to choke a small army. They carried silver-woven nets, rune-stamped shock batons, and muzzle-binding chains engineered for supernatural restraint. Xander and his siblings met them like a storm made of bone and pure, tearing teeth.
