I had only seen Mildred and Garren shift, so this was new. Hunter wasn’t nearly as big as Garren, but he was bigger than Mildred. His scales looked rougher, and he had spikes lining his back along his spine. His talons were longer than the others, and his wings looked like they were tipped with ice shards. “Hunter is the last of his kind,” Mildred said low enough for only me to hear. “He’s beautiful. He looks like he is covered in pieces of ice.” I said in awe. She let out a laugh.

Rather it looks as though he could eat me right now. I lean forward and clasp his hands above his head like he had done to me earlier on. However, I can tell that Hunter isn't trying to fight me this time. Rather, he seems to be enjoying this as much as I am. Without him realizing what I'm about to do, I manage to shift my underwear out of the way as I kiss and nibble the side of his neck. Hunter moans out approvingly as I continue my assault on his neck. It's clear we both have the same sensitive spots. I begin to kiss my way down his chest until I feel his member glide along my entrance, providing me with the opportunity I was looking for. Before he has a chance to stop me, I sink down ont

“I think so. I know not all hunters glow when they use theirs, so I’m not sure if the glow is from my gift or from the god part of me.” “Dorian, was there anything in the archives about a hunter glowing when using their gift? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that either.” Alpha Avery asks him. “Alpha, the only gift that causes a hunter to glow, is when the gift has something to do with seeing or ‘interacting’ with a soul. There are no hunters that currently have a gift like that. Any kind of soul gift is extremely rare.” Well shit. “So if I’m on a hunt, and I use my gift, I’ll glow and give away where I am. And any other hunters that are with me. That seems like the exact opposite of helpful

" As he turned his gaze to the lying body, Higgins spoke out against her overreaction. "What's the deal with your stare?" He inquired, seemingly piqued by the tenacity in her imagined grin. "So you're the hunter that Rachel kept telling about. Paul Higgins, the renowned and experienced warrior hunter who became stranded on this continent and incorporated magic into his..." She was led to confess everything she knew about him, at least the scratched surface information that she had been exposed to. "Shut up, little girl." Higgins blurted in a clear-cut manner. But how many innocent lives would be lost if we went to war with the hunters? Shaking my head, I reach up and rub the puckered scar where the wound had been. The bullet must have been dipped in wolfsbane as it was taking too long to heal. Even with silver, once it was out of the body, healing took very little time but it had already been a week and the scar bothered me as much as the strange girl standing in the clearing.

He is standing with his back turned against me, his eyes trained on the other person. I focus on him instead. He looks stunned, his eyes widened, and his lips parted. “That is impossible,” he mutters, shaking his head. “That veil hasn’t been breached in years. Who could have…” “Only one breed,” he drawls. “Hunters.” “Shit!” I didn’t think they were going to figure it out so fast.
