The library was huge, stretching two stories, filled with rare leather-bound volumes and banned books that I was amazed to see were in existence. I started at the bottom shelf, my fingers running over the spines. Observing everything. I was looking for anything related to fire, old records, or criminal history. Anything to connect the phoenix pendant to the men who killed my parents. An hour into the work, the library door opened, and Lucian walked in. He looked even more severe than yesterday, his face pale and drawn. He was holding a stack of files and moved with a careful, almost stiff slowness. "Elara." He didn't ask what I was doing; he clearly knew. "You're still here."

(Five years later) Lyra’s POV I leaned against the dark tinted window of my limousine as it drove past the City. My reflection stared back at me, my face covered with a Phoenix shaped mask that only allowed my eyes and mouth to be seen, it was my Trademark. The world now knew me as The Phoenix, the name wasn't just branding. It was my story. I had risen from destruction, rebuilt by hands that should never have held me together, and now the very fire that consumed me was now my fuel and weapon.

But tonight, it was ours alone. Inside, the air was still, carrying the faint scent of fresh wood and promise. I closed the door behind us, shutting out the world. My cut hung heavy on my shoulders, but when I looked at her, it was like the weight lifted. “Kat,” I said, my voice rough, the name tasting like home. “Tonight, it’s just you and me. Before the boys, before the noise. I want this night with my Phoenix.” Her smile was soft, but her eyes blazed, and I knew she understood. This wasn’t about escape—it was about claiming the quiet, the fire, the bond we’d sworn before gods and family alike.

Chapter 4: Yu Meng, who was currently laying on her bed and watching TV, while also eating, chocked on her food: “Cough-cough…fudge! Is she mentally-handicapped or something? And the storyline says that she managed to build a business empire by herself, you must be kidding me, with her IQ of a three-year-olds, how did she survive till now? Surely, the protagonist-halo managed to make me speechless once again.

So to confirm it, he asked, “What is your age Phoenix?” Harry asked on which what Phoenix said cleared Harry’s doubt that Phoenix is Sebastian’s split personality. “I was born on the day when I lost mom,” Phoenix said. Harry who heard this thought, that maybe Phoenix would tell him that what happened that day, because Sebastian told nobody about that day. “Phoenix what happened that day?” Harry asked on which Phoenix, who heard this, went from there saying nothing. From that day, Harry came to know that Phoenix is the only one who was saving girls/women by attacking those rapists and drug addicts. Harry told everything to Sanjeev and Lavanya, Lavanya who heard this said,

So I didn't want to make this book long. I hate writing long books! So I have decided to stop Phoenix' story here. Book 3 will be coming out soon but it might take a while because I am literally exhausted. I know there are a lot of lose ends in both Phoenix and Cleopoda's books but those lose ends will be tied in the third book since that's the final book in the series. I really feel like hiring a ghostwriter at this point because my arms and creative juices are screaming for help. Hehe. But I'll write the third book soon. Till then...adios

STORM. Phoenix fire was unlike any other flame. It did not feed on oxygen or fuel. It fed on emotions. More specifically, it fed on pain. And pain? Pain had teeth. Had a voice that knew your name. Tells me things she doesn't tell you and Dad." My heart clenched. "What things?" "That the Phoenix Academy isn't a school anymore. It's a prison. They're being studied, documented. The half-breeds especially. She thinks they're looking for something specific." "What?" "Power combinations. Phoenix-wolf. Dragon-vampire. Unique pairings that create unique abilities." He set the book down carefully. "She thinks Rose is what they're really after. The marks make her different from other half-breeds."
