Luna Scarlett's Second Chance

Luna Scarlett's Second Chance

Priam’s voice filters back in almost bored, “I only looked up invisible pillars of fire, but I found many many things that deal with invisible things and I couldn't pinpoint a specific one, so I had to look through every book that had something related to it before I found that one. Any problem?” I keep my feelings mellow and think of a way to respond strategically at least. My voice is steady as I respond, “This states that the pillar of fire, mostly referred to in the old tongue as… okay I can’t pronounce that, but it says the pillar of fire is a slave to its master.

The Howl of Blood and Fire

The Howl of Blood and Fire

Stripes. Burning across my body like fire. The air itself seemed to change. The wolves hesitated. Just for a second. That was their mistake. I moved. Faster than before. Stronger. Unstoppable. I tore through them. No hesitation now. No strategy. Just dominance. One after another. They fell. Until only one remained. Celdor stepped forward. Finally. I tilted my head slightly, blood dripping from my jaw. “You should have stayed hidden.” He didn’t respond.

Until The Last Day

Until The Last Day

But when he looked up, hundreds of other books were lifting and floating from the shelves, their pages bleeding and whispering her name. “Camela. Camela. Camela.” Her head spun, and her chest rose and fell heavily. “They want me…” Vincent held her tightly against him, his flame blazing so bright enough it illuminated the shelves like daylight. “Then they’ll have to burn for it,” he said. He swung his arm through the air, sending fire in a blazing arc that struck the shelves. The books shrieked, blood hissed, and their pages curled black, turning ash. But for every book that he burned, ten more emerged from the shadows. They surged forward, bleeding words that crawled across the floor and wra

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

Prologue II: Pyre, 3113 Pyre Av 5, 3113 Stephan Caliphus, King Everything was on fire the night he finished the book in the back room of a borrowed house. He laid his glasses down on the desk in front of him and rubbed his tired eyes. The crackling of flames could be heard as the city burned all around them. The blood curdling screams of the men in the streets where they died was enough to make the blood of the fiercest warrior run cold, but he was a man of empathy and it hurt him more than it did the others.

The Alpha's Hybrid

The Alpha's Hybrid

Her next words however halted all my wayward thoughts. 'This book says that out of all the elements, fire is the most destructive and most powerful. It is a symbol of destruction and of truth. It can be seen as the most powerful element because it is the symbol of the gods. It also symbolizes the beginning and the end' Adriana said, staring pointedly at me. I looked at her, dread rising in me. My hands trembled. 'What exactly does this mean' I asked, breathing deeply. I squeezed my hands tightly.

Taming the Fire Dragon

Taming the Fire Dragon

King Folwin growls, the earth around us beginning to shake with his anger. “Kill him,” he says to me. “Which one?” I ask, since I’m still holding the Chancellor by the throat. The earth is beginning to open up around us like King Folwin thinks he can stop this. Merellien looks at me, seeing the Chancellor dangling from my hand. “Both of them.” I blast another stream of fire at the king and light my hand with fire, holding the chancellor while he burns and watching as the king falls to his knees, screaming in agony as the earth settles around us again.

Kenna and Yhendorns story was a long time coming, and it was everything I could’ve hoped it’d be! Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book - although every story by Cooper is truly a great read. So excited for what’s to come! As always, author - amazing job! :)

100 Nights of Forbidden Fire

100 Nights of Forbidden Fire

The Nun In The Library I IN the library, dust motes danced in the lone shaft of light that shone through the stained-glass window, illuminating the rows of bookshelves that were properly lined in the back. Sister Mary, her habit a stark silhouette against the warm glow, traced a finger along the spine of a theological text. The scent of old paper and beeswax polish clung to the air, a familiar comfort that came when she was reading books. Today, however, an unfamiliar tremor rippled beneath her skin. A new scent, sharp and vital, cut through the accustomed quiet: sandalwood and something else, something musky and undeniably male.

Fire And Ice

*Last chapter! Yay! So someone is going to die. I know, spoiler much? Jsyk, I am crying way more than you are, if you do ಥ╭╮ಥ Listening to Before you go by Lewis Capaldi * * It was not easy at first. Having to pull men through tents and snap their heads, because there was a high possibility they would heal again. Yet he had to be thankful for the twins. Who psychotically, and happily set them on fire or drove Icicles through their head.
